I was really impressed with this company. Everyone—from customer service to the estimator to the installers—was professional and thoughtful. All installations were done so well and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Cost was very fair for all the work done. Would definitely recommend this company.

We were given a four hour window. Vernon showed up near the end of that window but did a great job installing the dishwasher. He took the time to make sure the dishwasher was installed correctly and listened to us when we had concerns. He also entertained our two-year old from time to time.

Patrick and John was very punctual. Call ahead to give ETA. They are professional and efficient. I use a different vendor for kitchen remodeling. They could have installed both appliance for free, but I want to make sure the job is done right. The range had different configuration than the old one so gas pipe needed adjustment. Patrick was quick to come up with the best solution. Quality Kitchen willb schdual an inspection too. I live in Montgomery county, MD, and gas range instalation needs a permit and inspection which is for my own peace of mind also.

They were very responsive and professional, especially since it was difficult getting anyone to respond to my request for quotes. Only issue was the appraisal person indicated the need for extra support under the counter, but the installers didn't put it in (didn't find it necessary, but at the same time, wish I had told them... not sure it's my job to communicate what work needs to be done after a appraisal is issued, especially since they charge extra for it and can't be put toward work being done). Had to replace a baseboard after installers left, but nothing I couldn't handle. Overall, I'm super happy with their responsiveness and timeliness in getting the task accomplished. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Initially, Quality Kitchens didn't impress me. They refused to confirm the time of my appointment, until the night prior of the installation date, which was very inconvenient because I had to deconflict with my work schedule. Also, the reception lady who arranged my appointment wasn't very helpful. So I had low expectations on the day of installation. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the installers showed up. Cody was the main guy and he was exceptional. The receptionist gave me a 11am - 2pm time slot, but Cody showed up early at around 11am. Cody and his partner were professional, methodical, courteous and skilled. I was blown away. If all of Quality Kitchen's installers are like Cody, I know who to call for my future appliance needs!!!

Quality Kitchens was a breath of fresh air. After purchasing my home 6 months ago, I have dealt with numerous contractors, and have been repeatedly disappointed at the unprofessional and lack of punctuality prevalent in the contractor workforce. Quality Kitchens has set the bar for me as far as communication, price, quality, timeliness, and professionalism. I was and am very very impressed. I actually am hoping that Quality Kitchens does work outside the Kitchen as well. They did an excellent job, were professional at every step of the way, and answered all my questions promptly. Use them!

We paid for installation with our purchase at Sears. As promised, Quality Kitchens called the next day to schedule the installation. On installation day, the crew kept us apprised of their timing and arrived promptly at the time we'd agreed upon. The two-man team handled the installation efficiently and courteously, even making note of an improvement they thought would better connect the new dishwasher to the much older plumbing under our sink. As it turned out, the old valve gave way and we experienced a minor leak. No problem. Quality Kitchens came back and ultimately replaced the valve. It took a couple tries over several days -- mainly because we were traveling and not in a hurry. They made sure we were 100% satisfied, and we are.

We purchased a new dishwasher from Best Buy, who then hired Quality Kitchens & Appliances to remove the old dishwasher and install the new dishwasher.  The day of the service, the tech called 30 minutes prior to arrival.  Our time from was from 9am to 1pm and he arrived at 9:10am.  Our tech, was polite and professional.  He came up and checked the area where the old dishwasher was going to be removed and the new one installed.  He identified an issue with the plumbing to our disposal where the previous owner had put in a coupling between two pipes that was not dripping but water was coming out at the edges.  He removed the old dishwasher and installed the new one.  There were no issues with the installation.  Once the new one was installed, he showed us the work he had done including the electrical box placement for the dishwasher and that the dishwasher was level but our counters were not. We turned on the unit to show that it was working. Again, great attention to detail.  If we have an opportunity to use them again we will.

We noticed that it leaked about 2 days later.  We called the provider. They sent a man out on 6-2-2015.
We asked him after he had tightened the hose clamps to let us see how if did when the dishwasher had
filled  up somewhat, He did that for me.....It seems to be working with No Leaks at this time...

We had two visits from Quality Kitchens, with a week in between the visits.  The first visit involved removing our existing (gas) dryer and installing a new dryer.  The two-man crew arrived during the three-hour window and was friendly and professional.  They removed the old dryer and installed the new one relatively quickly.  When they went outside, they noticed an issue with the exterior wall cap, which they showed me.  They determined that the tube leading to the wall cap and wall cap needed to be replaced, and we agreed with their assessment.  We asked if Quality Kitchens could fix this and they told us they could.  We asked for an estimated cost and they told us $145 but to call the company.  We had no complaints at all to this point.
We called the company when they were next open to get a quote.  The person who answered contacted the crew that had come out and reported back to us their estimate of $145.  We had already known what that crew's estimate was, and we had been expecting someone at the office to provide a quote.  It sounded expensive for the additional work that needed to be done, but we were in a bind at that point of needing to get the dryer working, so we made the second appointment.  A different two-man crew arrived a few days later to do the work.  They also were professional and friendly.  They performed the tube and wall cap replacement (which involved one combined part) in about 15 minutes.  They had expected to need to cut the tube but it ended up being unnecessary to do so. We then asked them to caulk a little more than they had around the outside wall cap because the seal wasn't quite complete, and overall they spent about 25 minutes at our house.  When they were finished, we were presented with a pre-printed invoice for $145.
After they left, we called Quality Kitchens to ask about the $145 charge given the amount of time and materials involved (especially when compared to the cost of the delivery and initial partial installation--about $200).  We were told that no matter how long it took, the cost was $145 because that's what was quoted.  We asked if the invoice, which simply listed $145 for the work, could be broken down by time and materials, and were told it could not.  We also felt like our questions annoyed the person who answered the phone.  So we were disappointed not only in the substance of the response, but also by the manner of the person on the phone.

Overall, the quality of work appears to be sound, but we didn't put an A on quality because, during the second visit, when the old tube connecting the dryer to the outdoors was removed and replaced: 1) there was a large chunk of lint/debris behind the tube that connected to the wall above the dryer and the worker just wiped it onto our floor before we could say anything.  It would've been nice if he'd asked if we had a paper towel (which was right in front of him on a roll and we were standing right there) or if he had a rag to wipe it off.  (It's hard for us to access behind the dryer now to get it up).  2) The person who caulked around the tube on the outside did appear to wipe away the majority of the debris before caulking but it seems he could have cleaned it better and gotten a better seal against the wall had he done so, although he added some caulk when asked to.
The C grade for responsiveness is in part because the company did not answer their phone for at least 15 minutes after they were supposed to be open (and we needed to talk to someone that morning), and in part because of how the person on the phone responded to questions about the second invoice.
For the record, the total cost of about $350 included both visits, and our cost concern is solely related to the second visit.

They were professional all the way and did a quality job installing the new UNIT. They arrived well within the promised time window. Nick and his crew were awesome! They installed the unit correctly in a difficult opening. They had to cut some wood off and even caulked it up :). I would definitely recommend this company to others. WORD TO THE WISE, if you purchase an appliance; have them install it! I even helped out but that was okay; I loved working with them. I am a very hands on client. I helped Nick's associate get the unit out of the car but it was so heavy he needed my assistance. I was glad to help!

They wanted me to hire an electrician and then they would come and plug the dishwasher in for an installation fee of $135. I am trying to get my money back for the dishwasher, but Best Buy says they cannot refund until Quality Kitchens returns the dishwasher, which, so far they have not done.
Response from QUALITY KITCHENS & APPLIANCES
"Quality Kitchens was contracted by Pacific Sales to do a standard dishwasher installation for this customer. In this case there was a electric junction box with multiple wires coming to it under the existing dishwasher. New dishwashers have solid bottoms and will not allow wiring to be done that way. Standard dishwasher installation does not include moving household electric wires. We advised customer to have an electrician move the box so that the new dishwasher would fit and to have him install an outlet for the dishwasher. The customer did not want to do this and canceled the order. We went out on 1/23/13 and we returned the unit to Pacific Sales 1/26 within seven days as required. Quality Kitchens is just an install contractor and did not sell the appliance, installation or have contact with the customer before the day of installation. I can't say what was told to them at the time they bought the dishwasher but if the customer has problems with what is or is not included in their sales agreement then they should take that up with the company they had the contract with. Quality Kitchens does know what is included in what we were contracted to do. We are sorry could not accomadate this customer as we try to provide great service for all our customers whether they contract directley with us or have made thier purchase with another company. We do not understand why this customer would blame Quality Kitchens when their agreement was with another company."

They are very professional, very prompt. I have never seen anybody as prompt as this company. They tell you when they are going to be there and they even call you beforehand to tell you they are on their way. The overall quality, I would say, is top rated.

Our 24 yr old double wall ovens shorted out after Thanksgiving. We called Quality Kitchen, never used them previously - but they got great ratings on Angies List so we called for an estimate to replace our existing 27and quot; GE double ovens with new Kitchenaid double ovens. We agreed on a date to have QK look at the existing cabinetry and provide an estimate...they showed up on time, were very professional and explained exactly how they would replace the double ovens. They called within 2 days with the cost estimate for the work -- provided a very fair price (we had already received 2 other estimates). We set the date for installation (4 days before Christmas) -- QK installers showed up on time -- again were very professional - did a wonderful job trimming the existing cabinet box and side counters. They built a platform to support the double ovens and once installed tested to make sure everything was fine. They also swept the floor and wiped the counters to remove any sawdust. We were extremely pleased with their work. Great Company

As you would expect, the new ovens did not have the same cutout as the original ovens. The major issues wast the height, our cutout being larger than required. When the estimator came he said that would not be an issue - they would cut a piece of black plexiglass to close off the approximatel 4 inch gap at the bottom. Since the face of the ovens is black, he said it would not be noticable. WE wre somewhat skeptical but the final result was great. The electrical interface also had to be altered which they accomplished quickly and without a big mess. The insatllers were very pleasant and took pains to not make a big mess. At the conclusion of the job they vacuumed the area and even cleaned the front of the ovens. They also provided some operating instructions. Despite the fact we purchased the replacement ovens on line, they took the old ovens with them. This is the second time we have used Quality Kitchens, and we will go back to them for any of our large appliance repair requirements. They are very responsive and highly professional.

The service providers that came out to do the job were prompt and professional. Made sure to keep the working area clean and damage free. It was easy to schedule an estimate and to put in a work order. I would definitely use them again! They even pointed out a possible complication with the installation but thankfully, it didn't matter. Had an excellent experience with this company.

They were terrific. We had had a terrible experience with another contractor. Quality Kitchens was recommended to us by our Sears salesman. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. They even installed a shut off valve on our gas line that was missing from our previous unit bringing us up to code. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

It went well as they were very responsive, prompt and communicated very well. Installing an outside vent was a challenge, but they were very effective in planning and finishing the work. They worked well with other contractor and kept all appointments while completing all work on time. Communication during the different service dates for the different appliances was critical, and they were always responsive. In the end, they reduce the estimated price because they said a gas line was easier to run than they initially estimated - quite an example of honesty.

Quality Kitchens subcontracts with Sears/Great Indoors for dishwasher installations. Instead of the $99 "standard install", they had to re-route the piping, close off a pipe and get into the drywall. The additional work cost an extra $165. Not entirely unexpected -- the dishwasher they replaced was about 20 years old. The 2-person team arrived on time, were professional, and were able to do the extra work without having to reschedule.
