Potomac Pressure Washing

I have used Potomac washing for several years now. They always do a great job and take care as if it is their home. I will continue to use them and refer them to my friends.

Potomac Pressure Washing did an excellent job pressure washing and sealing our deck which extends the entire width of our house. We had worked with Marc several years ago and, when we reached out to him this year, he remembered the work he had done for us in the past including the size of the job, what we wanted and the previous stain color for the deck. He was knowledgeable of our needs, responsive and provided a competitive quote. Marc pressure washed the deck and a small section of fence and gates one day as requested and Jose (and his assistant) stained the deck, fence, and gates the following day. Everything went as planned and the deck looks great. I highly recommend Potomac Pressure Washing.

Marc came out to do an estimate promptly and offered a very reasonable price, and then did the work shortly thereafter. I couldn't be happier with the result. My house and walkway look like they did when I bought the house. I will definitely use Potomac Pressure Washing again for power washing services.

Marc did a fantastic job on both the siding and bricks for our home, which were covered with a combination of green growth, mold and a variety of black stains of unknown origin. He was diligent, careful and took a long time to go over every section and the outcome was amazing. Marc did an outstanding job from the beginning to the end of the project. He is professional, competent, friendly, patient and does a thorough job. His responses to phone calls or emails are very prompt and clear. In preparing my house to be sold, I sought quotes from 5 Pressure/Power Washing companies off of Angie's List.  I received four quotes, while the fifth company was booked solid and did not provide a proposal.
The project was to pressure/power wash the entire exterior of my 4,000 sqft (above ground) home and its 900 sqft. deck, plus seal the deck with wood sealer the following day.  The house has white vinyl colonial siding with an extra bead under each row (the crevice above the bead collects dirt), and it hasn't been cleaned in over 10 years.  The deck boards were replaced 2 years ago but had not yet been sealed.
Of the four quotes received, Potomac Power Washing was the only quote under $1,000, the others were well above $1,000.  I spoke with Marc Cantor, owner of Potomac Power Washing, himself.  He was very professional and straight-forward.  He came out to see the house and deck within a day of my initial call and provided his proposal that same day by calling me and following up with an email.  His description of his understanding of the project, approach, and the time and materials required were consistent with those of the other proposals, though it wasn't just his lower price that won him the project. Marc was engaged through our conversation, he was confident in his presentation, and I believed that I would be able to trust his estimates in both cost and timing.
Sure enough, Marc completed the power washing in one day, and came back the following day to seal the deck, exactly as scheduled and promised.  The quality of his work, as well as the outcome of his effort is remarkable.  My house is now considerably brighter than I have ever seen it.  The siding looks virtually new.  Marc cleaned every exposed surface, from the highest peak down to the foundation.  The grime caught in the beads is completely gone and the house completely shines.  The deck, once it dried, was beautiful and a shade lighter than it had been at only two years old.  Virtually all stains on the deck, from leaves, bird droppings, and spills, were gone, and the white, composite deck railing sparkled like new.  I was blown away by the dramatic improvement in appearance of my house and deck following Marc's work.
I can not say enough positive about working with Marc.  He was, again, professional, straight-forward, honest and transparent, and accurate in his estimates.  I would strongly recommend Marc, and Potomac Power Washing, to anyone needing his services.

We have used Potomac Pressure wash previously, and were impressed with the job they did.  Unfortunately I lost contact with the company and couldn't remember who to call again.  Much to my surprise, Marc called and asked if I was interested in service again.  He was able to come out the very next day, and he did a great job once again.  We had skipped a few years of pressure washing, so one side of the house had a lot of mildew on the siding.  Marc was able to remove all of the stains, and it looks brand new again.  I was also interested in getting our wood deck cleaned, and Marc was very honest and suggested we not power wash the deck as it would damage the stain further.  I appreciate his honesty, I feel many vendors would just take the extra job/money and not explain to the customer why they should consider something else.
We will continue to use Potomac Pressure Wash in the future, and this time I have saved his business card so I don't lose touch.  I highly recommend this company.

286-4128.As I watched our siding slowly turn green, I knew it was time to have it washed. Marc was very responsive. After leaving a message asking for a quote, he called me back within a few hours to say that he could work me into the schedule within the next two days, weather depending. And, indeed, he arrived two days later to wash the house. He was very conscientious about making sure that no bleach-sensitive plants or other items were harmed, completed the task quickly and efficiently and for exactly $100 per side, as quoted. I will certainly call him again next year, when we start to go green again. Also, although I have the same website as listed above, the phone number I called was 240-

I have covered the details above. The whole job was completed by Mark within 4 hours. He first applied a Clorox solution, not harmful to plants, to treat the worst mold areas. As he explained the Clorox kills the mold, otherwise he would be just washing off the mold with water. I am definitely pleased again with Potomac Pressure Washing, and highly recommend the company. Always better to work with one person, than a crew organized by distant boss or owner who is disengaged.

I called and left a message. Later that day, I received a phone call from Chris and he said that a would stop by for an estimate within 1-2 days. The next day, I received the estimate, and I was able to schedule the work within the next two days! Chris was quick to return my phone calls and as well to address my follow up concerns. He wanted to make sure that I was happy as well.

We called for an estimate. Chris responded within a few days and within a week, the entire job was completed.
