Air Duct Cleaning
They came out about one week prior to the previous order. They came out to clean the chiminey and the airducts and discovered a mold problem. Actually, I was not suprised to hear that, because when we had the home inspection, we were told that there was a mold problem in the ducts and that we should budget for it. I was suprised about the price, but he offered me a discount to the above price. He even threw in the chiminey cleaning for free ($89.00). They scheduled an appointment the next week and came on time. We were happy with them. On the down side, I would have to say that them giving me a four hour time range is WAY TOO MUCH! How can a family plan their time when the person says that they will be there anytime from 12-5pm? At least they should have given me a call that day to tell me that the approx. time would be later or earlier. If you are a service company, please take our time into account.

Air Duct Cleaning
I saw PC Air's advertisement in the money mailer and made an appointment for them to clean my ducts. They advertised the whole house for $85. When they arrived it seemed like a bait-and-switch offer and the man exposed the duct directly behind the humidifier and proceeded to tell me that I had a mold problem and they could not clean the ducts unless I addressed the mold problem and to clean up the mold it would cost $1085. I declined the service and got another provider, Sixpenny, to clean the ducts. I showed the same duct to the Sixpenny rep and he said that it was merely dust and there was no mold present. Sixpenny cleaned the ducts for approximately $400.
