MARTINEZ CONCRETE RESTORATION & CONSTRUCTION INC

.Working with Mr. Martinez (.MCRC) was the worst experience of our lives.  The job was to take approx. 3-4 weeks and due to weather and other jobs he contracted for they were here 1&l/2 years. The day they poured the new concrete it started cracking that night.  Months later they tried to replace the cracked areas which were all over the deck and steps.  The contrasting colors and main deck color did not match because of a different dye lot.  Caulking cracked, and was in no way straight.  When pouring concrete, it was splattered on the house, screens, windows and moldings.  We kept asking them to clean it but they never did and we have no idea as to how to get all the concrete off.  The steps were uneven and some of them were not up to Maryland code.  The original contrast color poured was hand stamped and the next pour was done with a very large roller which in no way matched.  The never sealed the driveway so no you can see the concrete stones instead of a nice even concrete driveway.  We could go on with a lot more that was done wrong but I'm going to end this with the fact that we spent $24,000+ and Mr. Martinez, who by the way seemed so genuine, caring and trusting in the beginning WALKED OFF THE JOB WITHOUT ANY NOTICE.  IN OTHER WORDS HE STOLE OUR MONEY AND TO REPLACE WHAT HE HAS DONE IS GOING TO BE A LOT.  We live on a fixed income and had saved to have this work done so we could sell the house and move to a different area.  Due to health problems and losing a job we are in quite a bind.
If anyone knows where this man can be found please let us know as we can't afford lawyers.  PLEASE BE AWARE HE IS A CON MAN AND VERY GOOD AT IT

MCRC worked with us to come up with a design. They asked us quesitons on what our tastes were and what our likes and dislikes were. From there, together we came up with a design. The work was done from start to finish very quickly and professionally.
