It has not gone well. We have a bathroom with no toilet, no sink/vanity, a light fixture with one of the glass covers missing. The tile work has not been completed. He removed some insulation in the attic to do work in the ceiling above the bathroom and now the house is cold.
Description of Work: From 9/26/2016 through 12/12/2016, we paid Mario J. Iglesias, $11,000 to renovate an upstairs bathroom at our residence. He worked steadily at first and made some progress; however after Mr. Iglesias received the last payment, he turned into a "con-man" virtually disappeared for 15 days in December 2016 while promising to come to work the next day and the finish the job by the end of the week. He rarely came to work and in December had only put 23 hours into the job. After being confronted in late December about his lack of progress, he then returned without the material for 2 days to work. Since then, we have texted him asking that he come to work and provide the materials; however, he no longer shows-up or responds to texts or phone calls. By January 2017, he has failed to show up for work at all. We demanded that he provide the missing materials which includes a toilet, sink, vanity worth about $900.00 but they never appeared. Regrettably, we understand that others have been held victim to these unscrupulous dealings. Reviewing court records in Maryland, he clearly seems to view litigation and regulatory sanctions as merely a cost of doing business. It is estimated that it took Mr. Iglesias 13 weeks to perform what should have taken 2.5 weeks (assuming a 40 hour/ week schedule).

started strong and did reasonable work for awhile. Became con man, promising anythig and stalling, doing shoddy work, finally unreachable
Description of Work: roof, plumbing, landscaping, repair leak in foundation. Suggested expensive electrica work that an electrician subsequently said absolutely was unnecessary (fixed problem by replacing a switch). Some plumbing installations fell apart and he said on phone he'd be over to fix it; never came. On and on
