I am so happy to write this review. My new fixtures look very good. But most of all, the installer was prompt, showed professionalism and knew what he was doing. He was knowable of the work to be done. He, even answered some of my dumb questions for my purpose of understanding other potential work concerns. He was very exceptionable and can come to my home anytime for any work that needs to be done. Words can not describe the greatness of this installer. Thanks Angie Edwina

Lou was very responsive - I sent the initial contact email on Memorial Day, and he responded the same day. Gave a price in emails, scheduled job. He and a helper showed up on time and got started. Job went great, they were very cautious not make a mess, asked any questions about where to install, how I wanted things, etc, cleaned up everything after they finished and job was done.

I was very happy with the work Lofft performed for the following reasons. They were professional and responsive. When I identified problems (and problems arise in any construction project), they did not make up excuses or try to lie their way out of the mistake like so many contractors tend to do. The work was done right, if not the first time then the second time. They also didn't randomly disappear for days or weeks or take extended trips to Home Depot. I also felt I was in good hands in terms of Lofft’s management of the inspection process. Although I decided to pull my own permits (and Lofft did not object to this, like many other contractors would have), Lofft managed the inspection process. On a project like mine there were countless inspections that needed to be carefully planned, and Lofft guided the process smoothly, seamlessly, and in a very time-efficient manner. Lofft also showed flexibility in letting me select materials for my project. This was very important to me, and unlike other contractors Lofft didn’t throw a temper tantrum over this. I made sure the materials were available for them when they needed them so that I wouldn’t hold them up, and Lofft was amenable to using fixtures, appliances, and materials that I had picked out. Finally, on price Lofft was very reasonable. I have worked with other companies I would not hire again, and I consider myself a demanding customer. This was my third extensive renovation, and I was very happy I picked Lofft. I would gladly hire them again for another job.

It was not so good. It made me switch. It was advertised much less. It was just pretty much the price that stood out. We ended up going to a negotiator and coming up with something that I felt wasn't as advertised. They offered an Angie's List special. I took them up on it and there were issues. It said on there that I get so many breakers along with the deal and they tried to change that. The quality of the work was okay. It took awhile to get them to do work.

Lou did a fantastic job adding additional lighting. He maintained a clean work environment and would ensure areas were cleaned before moving to other areas of the house. Considering the number of holes cut in the ceiling for the recess lights, this additional step was much appreciated. On site, I made a decision to not all the lights originally quoted and Lou effortlessly adjusted the final price at time of payment. His rates were way better than the competition and his quality of work was top notch. Highly recommended. Will use Lou for future jobs.

Couldn't have gone any better. On time appointment, one man worked singularly and fast, and had to create far fewer holes than I was prepared for. I purchased a similar deal with another vendor earlier this winter, and it took two guys, for longer time, more money and created many more holes that had to be patched. I'll certainly call upon this contractor again for other electronic work.

Every time I call him he comes and does an excellent job.

The job went as expected and discussed.  The team was quick, professional.  The only issue is my offer for additional work to be performed which the contractor did not pursue.

The contractor was prompt and on time.  The electrical technician asked what needed to be done and worked steadily providing professional and clean work.  We would use this contractor again and would recommend them to others.

The service turned out good. The scheduling was fine and they showed up on time and the smaller projects that they did were done well.

It went well.  My only criticism was that he was extremely late the first day and didn’t notify us.  His work was great, he was wonderful, and he did some extra work for us for free.

Lou arrived right on time and was working less than 2 minutes later.  He quickly was able to rewire a switch correctly and moved onto the next project.  We have had an outlet that hasn't worked since we moved in.  Lou looked at the wiring of the room and an access panel from the neighboring room.  He walked me thru what he saw and gave me some options to fix it.  We mutually agreed to have him come back at a later date and do some other work.  Lou will be my electrician until he retires.  Thanks Lou!

It took a lot of scheduling and a lot of visits. It was not smooth, but overall the work was done. I read some of his reviews that he does commercial work and residential, and it is true that his schedule is fluid, and homeowners are not his priority. He is okay if you are flexible. He hit the main power line with the hammer drill.

They were great! He did a very good job. The final cost was same as the original estimate. The pricing was good.

It turned out fine. The price was good.
