LAKE FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL is providing my pets with LOVING and COMPETENT care. Dr. Mark Liberto's reputation for being honest, skilled, knowledgeable and experienced helped in making my decision to choose LAKE FOREST for my pets' care--forever! Dr. Liberto is easy to talk to, and he listens, too.
I'm excited about the hospital's renovations; the hospital is more than twice the size of the old hospital (approximately 2.5 times the size of the old facility), which I believe makes LAKE FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL one of the MOST UP-TO-DATE, STATE-OF-THE-ART veterinary centers in the immediate and surrounding areas. The architectural design of the new hospital is impressive. I suspect the new facility is a veterinarian's dream and a wonderful benefit to all of Dr. Liberto's loyal staff members and clients, and, of course, to our pets, who we love and who love us back.
LAKE FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL is a quick drive from my Germantown home; and if you live farther away, turn on your favorite CD and enjoy the ride.
And the LAKE FOREST SUPPORT STAFF OF TECHNICIANS AND OFFICE PERSONNEL IS A WONDERFUL GROUP OF CARING INDIVIDUALS! They helped take excellent loving care of my sick little kitty while he was hospitalized.
LAKE FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL is my choice for my pets' care simply because I LOVE MY PETS! And LAKE FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL is an AAHA ACCREDITED hospital.
Initially, Randy's condition was just related to his front left leg/shoulder, which he wasn't using. We thought that his condition might just be joint related because I have 5 active pets; so, he was given a pain medication and laser treatment for inflammation. His left front leg quickly started healing, but then his left rear leg became affected and his temperature started to increase.
So, on Saturday, 5/3/2014, WHEN THE CLINIC WAS ABOUT TO CLOSE FOR THE DAY, I was told to bring in Randy. He was hospitalized, hooked him up to IV fluids, and labwork was done. Randy wasn't eating on his own; I was hand-feeding him. Technicians continued to hand-feed him, when necessary, while he was hospitalized.
After Randy was settled in, I went back to the housing area before I left; he remained hospitalized until Monday night, 5/5/2014. Before I left to bring him home (along with his antibiotics), I took Randy's temperature using his thermometer that I brought with me, so I could make sure that I was correctly using the thermometer.
Thanks to Lake Forest Animal Hospital, Randy has completely recovered!

I especially liked the fact that Devon's blood and urine samples were drawn while I WAS PRESENT and that the process was explained to me. I was so used to vets and technicians rushing my pets to the back of the hospital, faster than the speed of light, that I was shocked when the labs were drawn in my presence.
I received a phone call in a timely manner to review the lab results. During that conversation, future plans for Devon's care were discussed; however, he is currently doing very well for a 14-yr-old cat. After his radioactive I-131 hyperthyroidism treatment on 12/10/12, Devon's T-4 (today) still remains in the good range after over a year since his I-131 treatment: it's 1.5.
Lake Forest Animal Hospital will be doing EXTENSIVE renovations to their facility in 2014. I'm guessing that Lake Forest will be one of the most up-to-date hospitals in the area. Their new facility will be more than twice it's current size at the current location, according to information given to me by Lake Forest. And I like the fact that Lake Forest Animal Hospital is a VERY QUICK RIDE from Germantown. I have several pets; so, selecting the right veterinary hospital is an important decision for me.
