From start to finish it was a great experience.  The first thing that stood out to me was how clean they left the job site - at the end of the day the area was clean and tidy, and they took care to lay drop cloths every day so that they didn't track anything through our house.  Things like that showed me how much pride they took in their work.  The work itself was great and the attention to detail was extraordinary.  Jon was terrific in suggesting things big and small to make the best use of the space.  Our house is older (1948) and the basement had been finished very poorly by a previous homeowner.  Once the walls and ceilings were exposed, we found a lot of poorly wired and potentially unsafe things, including outlets wired with lamp cord.  Jon identified all the issues and addressed them.  Pricing was more than fair - there was never any sticker shock for fixing the problems he found or the changes we made mid-job.  He broke down every item so I knew what it cost, and it was all reasonably priced.
