We couldn't get rid of those pesky little ants, so we decided to call Paramount. Excellent service, always responsive and professional. The scheduler on the phone was courteous and informative.

The service I receive from Home Paramount is excellent. Anthony (technician) was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Home Paramount.

Excellent. I have the same man every quarter. He knows my house and where the trouble spots are. If needed, he will come out at no charge between my regular visits to take care of any infestation. I would highly recommend this company.

The inspection was something the county required for a permit and was to state not pest or rodents where the pool was being dug up. Home Paramount-Gaithersburg came that week as scheduled and furnished the necessary paperwork to get the permit. The office and the person who came to do the inspection provided good customer service.

We have been a customer with Home Paramount Pest Control since 2006, 8 years. The services they provide seem adequate. We have not had any major issues with bugs or mice in our home. However, over the course of this relationship, I have had several scheduling snafu's.
1. They use an automated scheduling system from a central office (not the local branch) to schedule the quarterly appointments. This means I get a phone call TELLING me my appointment time and date, regardless of my availability. When I call them back, the operator will kindly reschedule my appointment to a mutually aggreable date.
2. The technician often shows up near the end of my appt. window. So if the appt. is set from 9-11am they come just before 11am, always.
3. If your technician is late beyond your appointment time, their operators do not give clear information.
Today, I had an appt scheduled for 8-10am, when I called the operator said they had it as 9-11am. Ok, error #1, I'm forgiving.  They told me my tech would arrive by 11am. So I changed my schedule and stayed home till 11am.  At 11:15, I call again and I'm transferred to the local branch. Allison, whom I'm told is the manager, tells me the tech was delayed and I was told that.  When I express my inconvenience over the delay and ask for a discount on our account, she tells me she will speak to a manager and promptly hangs up. 

At 11:35am, the tech showed up, a very sweet guy, same guy every time and does a great job.  He tells me that they will remove our account from auto scheduling and that the manager is aware of today's concerns and gives me his cell number. So all in all, the services provided are good, the technicians are always really nice, but the scheduling is a nightmare!

Update: Later that day, the manager called me personally to apologize for the difficulty and offered a credit to our account. They were very fair to give a little back for my inconvenience and I appreciate the gesture.

Richard the inspector and Ron Rose are excellent, responsive, and professional. I was not at house at the quarterly inspection, but Richard took the time to update my mother in law who was at the house-my mother in law said that Richard was very kind and nice.

Prior to March, 2008, I had my house protedted from termites by the Sentricon Colony Elimination System. To the best of my knowledge, that system was working adequately.
In March, 2008, upon the recommendation of Home Paramount/Gaithersburg inspector/salesman Lynwood Hester, I paid Home Paramount $1050.00 to remove the Sentricon system and treat my property with the Premise liquid system. Mr. Hester's rationale for this recommendation was that the Premise system provided more effective protection and was less expensive to maintain, on an annual basis, than the Sentricon system.
In August of this year (2013) I noticed some termite activity near my house and called Home Paramount to investigate. On August 28, 2013, the inspector/salesman (Randy) verified the termite activity, and, not knowing the history, recommended that I have the Sentricon system installed, that being much more effective than the Premise system. When I then explained the history and asked why they (Home Paramount) are now recommending Sentricon when they had me remove it and pay for Premise five years ago, he could not explain it.
At that point, Randy called his manager, Ed Lisicki (sp?), who also could not explain why Lynwood Hester (since retired) had sold me the Premise system. He went so far as to say that he would have fired Mr. Hester had he (Mr. Lisicki) been at the Home Paramount/Gaithersburg office in 2008.
After consulting with others at Home Paramount, Mr. Lisicki called me on September 5, 2013 and informed me that the best they could do was to install the Sentricon system for $4.00/linear foot (about $750 total) but give me 1/2 off the first year's maintenance fee of about $350.00. He said Home Paramount was prevented by Dow Corning, the manufacturer of the Sentricon system, from discounting it further.
I told Mr. Lisicki that this was totally unacceptable, that I had a functioning Sentricon system prior to March 2008, but upon Home Paramount's recommendation had paid $1050.00 to have it removed and replaced with what is now described as an inferior product, and was now being asked to pay another $750.00 to restore my house to where it was prior to March 2008. I told Mr. Lisicki that my suggested solution was for Home Paramount to install the Sentricon system at no cost to me and to reimburse me the $1050 I paid to have it replaced in 2008. I told him I would be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Consumers' Checkbook, and Angie's List if they did not accept my request.
Mr. Lisicki said he understood my frustration and actually somewhat agreed with my perspective, but that his hands were tied. He then said he would contact the Home Paramount regional manager (Dave Connor?) and have him call me. In the meantime, he would schedule to have the termite-affected area of my house retreated with Premise per the warranty.
As of the filing of this report (September 13, 2013), I have not heard back from anyone at Home Paramount regarding either the retreatment with Premise or the installation of Sentricon.

They were very good, they came out very quickly and they were on time. I had no problems and they were respectful. They weren't expensive, they were reasonable.

They are very professional. They come out once a year unless I need them. They are very thorough with their work and I have had no problems since!

They seem to have done a fairly good job. They come and do the work and don't bother me. They are very responsive too.

I have used them for many years and are consistently very responsive. If I'm not happy with the treatment, they will come out and do it again.

We have been using Home Paramount for over 20 years for pest control both for termites and carpenter ants. We have always had outstanding service and the price seems comparable to other pest control services. In addition, when we had a rat problem in our crawl space, it was Home Paramount that discovered it during their annual inspection. They did the work tearing out the damage and replacing the insulation and moisture barrier for a discounted price because of our long time relationship. I got two other estimates and they really did give us a discount.

They are here right now. They have franchises all over the place. They charge 95 dollars for each visit. I would continue to use them in future.

As far as I know, the treatment that they did was affective. I had used another company and still had problems with bed bugs. The treatment that Home Paramount gave seemed to take care of the problem. Unfortunately, we moved out of the house the day after the treatment but in the move we found that in the things we had all the bed bugs were dead.

I heard of them from my sister in law many years ago. I have been using them for about twelve years. We have had the same guy the whole time. They are consistent and show up when they say they will. We pay $87 quarterly. They go above and beyond the call of duty.

I am so disgusted with this company I had to pass on how unreliable their service is. I have now rescheduled my appointments at least 3 times and have yet to have the technician show up (a) when scheduled, and (b) often at all. The office blames the "main office" and cannot reach the service personnel. Even when the technicians call a day or so ahead to confirm the appointments, that is unrelated as to whether they will show up or not. But the bills arrive very promptly, whether the service is performed or not. It's back to Angie's List for me to find a more reliable company. Save your money, time and patience.

The sales consultant and inspector, Juan Contstanza, arrived right on time. He took as much time as I needed to explain every detail and answer every question I had (the reps from Orkin and Terminix just wanted me to sign a contract on the spot). There was little pressure, and very good information. After doing Internet research the next day, I chose Home Paramount, called in the morning on a Saturday and they were there within two hours and completed the work. The installer was just as helpful and knowledgeable.

HOME PARAMOUNT HAS BEEN MY PEST CONTROL COMPANY FOR OVER 20 YEARS. THEY PERFORM AN ANNUAL TERMITE INSPECTION AND QUARTERLY PEST CONTROL APPLICATIONS. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMBEROUS TECHNICIANS OVER THOSE 20 YEARS. THE MAJORITY OF THEM HAVE BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THE QUARTERLY PRICE OF $95 SEEMS A LITTLE HIGH FOR A JOB THAT COULD BE DONE BY THE HOMEOWNER, BUT PARAMOUNT WILL COME TO YOUR HOME FREE OF CHARGE BETWEEN TREATMENTS IF YOU SEE ANY PESTS.

THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY DO FOLLOW UP VISITS TO INSPECT THE AREA TO SEE IF THEY NEED TO REAPPLY TREATMENT. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. I DON'T HAVE TERMITES AND THAT'S WHAT I CARE ABOUT.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND ATTENTION WE RECEIVE FROM PARAMOUNT. OUR ASSIGNED SERVICE TECHNICIAN IS BOTH KNOWLEDGEABLE AND RESPONSIVE TO OUR PARTICULAR NEEDS DURING HIS REGULAR INSPECTIONS. WE RECEIVE ADVANCE NOTICE OF WHEN OUR TECHNICIAN WILL BE AT OUR HOUSE, AND ARE PROVIDED WITH A MEANS TO CONTACT HIM IF THAT TIME IS NOT GOOD FOR US.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIVE. WE WERE ABLE TO GET APPOINTMENTS IN SHORT TIME FRAMES, THE TECHNICIANS WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, AND WERE FRIENDLY/INFORMATIVE. THE PRICES SEEM REASONABLE AND THEY DO A PRETTY THOROUGH JOB.
