Dustin is very knowledgeable and his folks did a great job on the entire project. They did such good job, we have requested they complete some additional projects we need doing. Pleasure to work with and his prices are very reasonable.

From beginning to end, all their work went very well. We were very satisfied with all aspects concerned, and would definitely call upon them again for any large project.

Punch line: I'm very happy with the addition that Green Builders put on my house and hope to have them back another time to do a second addition. Details: Earlier this year, we hired Green Builders to do a pretty extensive job: put an addition on the front of my house that expanded our kitchen, created a new entry-way and hallway closet, and a really nice front porch. They were also going to add several skylights to the ceiling, replace the roof, and replace all the siding on my house. And finish my laundry room which was unfinished. All-in-all... a pretty significant effort! While there were some scheduling snafus along the way (weather, scheduling, etc - things you are gonna have when you have a big job), at no point in time did I feel that we were left hanging. Green Builders was always communicative to me about anything that came up. They were also very response to my comments and critiques along the way and was able to make changes as we went along (of course subject to finances). For example, I came home once and noticed that the electrician had put a light switch in the framing in a location that was supposed to have a window. I let them no and no big deal - it was fixed the next day. Little things like this will always happen - what's important to me is that there's an open line of communication and things get addressed and they were. The took a lot of pride in their work and would often point out the details of putting in the dry wall, or framing. They did a great job on the tiling (both on the floor and our kitchen backsplash) and with the front porch which was composite decking. As for the results... I'm super happy. Our kitchen is wonderful. From the outside, everyone comments on how good the house looks. There's a lot more I can say and all the details, but I think I've made my point: Very happy with Green Builders. Highly recommend.

He was prompt, professional, and did it in a timely manner. He replaced the wood with treated wood and the deck looks great!

They came out in the Fall and my husband took care of the expenses. We got to choose the color and texture of paint and they cleaned up nicely after themselves and they are very nice people to work with. They do a good job. Their close proximity to our home was convenient for us.

We could not be more pleased with the renovation of our home by Green Builders. Two crews worked on the job, as well as both owners, Dustin and Ryan Green. One thing that really impressed me was that on a daily basis, the workers cleaned up from that day's materials and mess. They kept us informed of timeline changes, what to expect, when to expect it, etc. As you can imagine in the renovation of an older home, unexpected things showed up. When they did, Dustin or Ryan would explain why there had to be a change in the course of the work, due to unknown conditions behind our walls, or under our floors, etc. We were advised of this possibility up front, and attempted as best we could to budget for some cost increases for those unknowns. For example, there was significant mold behind some of the walls, and also structural deficiencies that needed remediation before work could be continued, that was from prior poor workmanship on the home in years past.



What was once a modest, and not- so- attractive beach cottage on the South River, our home is now a truly stunning construction work of art! We are now quite proud to welcome and entertain family and friends in our new home . We could not emphasize enough the attention to detail that was given at every turn during the renovation. Green Builders should take pride in the craftsmanship, and professionalism of their work. We found after working with them for a few weeks, that when a suggestion was offered by either Dustin or Ryan, it was wise for us to give it thoughtful consideration. They have a keen eye for what looks good, or an idea of creating better function than what we had planned for in a specific area. We did opt to go with some of their suggestions, and are pleased that we did. In a few areas where we were determined in the way we wanted something done, they accommodated that as well. Working with a builder/ renovation firm is an ongoing process, where feedback as you go along, is quite important from both sides. We felt the working relationship with Green Builders was that of a collaborative, interactive, and professional nature. One that we would choose again, and in fact, have brought them back to do additional work building walls, fences, etc. Our and quot;Go-Toand quot; construction company, remodel firm, and project company will continue to be Green Builders for years to come. We would heartily recommend them, and would be happy to provide a personal reference if a prospective customer would desire that.

As I said, this was a tough job. The roof was in rough shape because it had been previously painted with the wrong paint, so they sand-blasted it to bare metal and primer-ed it then followed with multiple coats. They had some trouble with defective paint, and high roof temperature, and they had to work around frequent summer rainstorms, but they kept at it and got the work done though it took a couple of months. I was well-satisfied at one point, but they felt it could be better so they came back and re-coated certain areas of the roof. they kept the jobsite as clean as possible (sand-blasting is a messy business) and their price were more than fair for the nature of the work.

A very detailed estimate was provided for each of the three projects that Green Builders completed for us. They scheduled the work with us and arrived when they said they would. We are very pleased with the quality of all work that was performed. They are meticulous about keeping your home as clean as possible....which can be difficult when woodworking is being done.

They did a great job and know what they are doing. They were very up front about the cost to dig out the barn and pour the floor.
