Georgetown Fine Pruning and Tree Care

I contacted 3 Angie's listed tree stump removal firms to get quotes. One came to my house and quoted almost $500 to do the work. The write-up of that quote listed services other than grinding down the stump [remove wood and wood chips] which I had specifically asked them not to do. The second firm called, I gave them the details about the stump they requested [about 4 ft. tall, 2.5 ft in diameter, in the middle of my back yard, accessible by a vehicle as large as a cement mixer]. They were reluctant to come to Poolesville although their listing said they cover all of Montgomery County. They encouraged me to contact some other Angie's listed business which advertised "any stump for $250 up to 36 in in diameter." So I did and Denis was good to his word. He not only made the spot in my back yard like there had never been a stump there in the first place, he also stacked the wood neatly in my log rack. I am so pleased! Great communication with owner, a certified arborist, and the crew was careful, efficient and professional.  Cleanup was great.  You would not know that major tree work had been done.

From the very first time at our house the professionialism of the owner was exhibited.  In addition to being articulate and knowledgeable, he has the right credentials (certified arborist, licensed and bonded, a local native familiar with local tree species).  Our first job was removing two large, diseased trees that were 15 feet from our house.  There was not one tree limb that touched the house during removal!  It was a thing of beauty to watch.

From that moment on, this company has taken care of the trees on our property.  We are very particular about who does work in and around our home. We have 75+ year old specimen trees and many smaller trees.  The smaller trees have been pruned to perfection and they are not only healthy, but have become more aesthetically pleasing over the years.

Denis Pachas understood right away what was needed, described what would be done, and ensured that his crew understood what results we wanted.  The pruning actually exceeded our expectations, because they were able to reach and prune areas that I never thought they could.  We were very pleased with the results, and a year later we are even more pleased, as the pruned tree has filled out again to a natural appearance.
