They have been good. Just did a good job. The price was good at that time just generally they are pretty good.

It went well. At first the glass would not fit and they tried to get the glass in but I noticed the cabinet didn't to be fixed better to be able to fit the glass in.
I fixed the cabinet at home and the glass slid in.
They are professional and reasonably priced. I have used them in the past many year ago and was happy with them also(owners where different at that time).

I noticed that one window pane in my storm window had developed a serious crack. I took it out and brought it to Gaithersburg Glass. They gave me an estimate of $65 and said it would take one week. They called when they said they would and I picked up a new window pane. Very pelased with the service and quality of work.

I was pleased with them. They came out and measured and gave me good advice and then they came and did the work after they ordered the glass. So far, I haven't had any problems with the glass so I have not had to call them back or anything. I've only had it for about a month.
Their pricing, well put it this way, they were in the ballpark but I had gotten an estimate from someone else that was a little more reasonable and they matched it.

This is a terrific company with years of experience in designing and installing many types of glass. Specialists with many years of experience are provided with specific unique skills: Measuring, Designing, Installation, Quality Control/supervision. Each group that came to our home was professional, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves constantly. Frameless shower doors are intrinsic to many updated bathrooms today,. The owners provided EXCELLENT design advice (including suggested hardware and glass coatings) and the results are really terrific. My bathroom is not only beautiful, but all the glass has been very securely installed. All estimates are provided in writing after they come out and make precise measurements. This is a business that respects their customers, is realistic in their pricing and is highly competent,. USE THEM!!!!

These guys are great! I asked for a certificate of insurance, and they easily gave it to me. I wanted them to come a month and a half after the window came in, and they said that it was not a problem. They were on time. They were very nice to deal with. The window is beautiful. I had a terrible time with another vendor. I had to fight with them to get a certificate of insurance. The other vendor installed a window that had several scratches on it. The panes were not right. There was caulk all over the window, and the window did not match the other windows. They scratched the inside of my window. I was so upset that I told them not to come again, and I was going to cancel the window. I had to pay a $60 dollar restocking fee to cancel the window. Compared to this vendor, Gaithersburg Glass Company was a dream!

Overall, I was pleased with the final product and work done by Gaithersburg Glass. They gave me a number of options and when I told them what I wanted to spend (About $2K) they provided a viable option that met my needs.
There were a few delays from the initial plan to when the work was completed, but not due to their fault. Apparently the glass/hardware provider they used was in NJ and affected by hurricane Sandy - so the final install was about 10 days later than planned.
However, the work looks great and I am happy with the result.
I would definitely not hesitate to use them again!

The experience went great. The workers were on time for both the review and the work. They also were very professional.

They were very nice. We have used them before. They come when they are supposed to come and they do a good job. If they have to correct anything, they have corrected it within 48 hours.

We had a difficult time receiving an estimate from Gaithersburg Glass. We had to call repeatedly to receive the estimate. That should have been a warning sign. Their price was lower than competitors', and they had a good rating on Angie's, so we persisted. We then had to call repeatedly to schedule a time to come over and take measurements. The gentleman with whom we worked did not show up at the agreed-upon time. He did this more than once. We persisted because of the price. We were told it would take three weeks from the date of estimate to get the glass. At five weeks, we started calling. I don't think they ever put the order in! At this point, I started working with the company owner, who was very accommodating and punctual in returning calls. My experience with him raises my grade for GGlass from an F to a generous C. If I could give a C- or D+, I would. The final shower stall installation rates a B. There were small aspects of the installation -- things I probably won't even notice in a few years -- that I think could have been done better. However, we believe that fixing them would necessitate a re-do of the entire installation and that the problems are small enough that it is not worth the hassle. The professionals who did the installation were courteous and prompt.

they were nice in the store. my wife had scheduled to have them come out to get the window out of the frame but I was able to do that about three days before they were to come to my house. I showed up on a saturday and gave them the window and told them to cancel the people coming out to my house. The person still came out. It didn't seem like they communicated real well. No matter for me. They told me the window would be about a week but it took three weeks and they never really called me to tell me what was going on. I mean I had a open window in my house with tape and plastic so I wanted the window back. Anyway we called them and they told us it would be ready and they would call. They eventually called and I picked up the window. They did a nice job with the window as far as i can tell. I would probably use them again but it would have been nice to have been kept up to date with what was going on. I expected more from somebody rated highly on angies list.

I liked the quality of their work.

They came to give me the estimate. They did detailed measurements and marked the wall up so that if I decided against it, I'd have to repaint. It took several tries to get them to give me the actual estimate. There was some issue with delivery but in the end, the product was nice.
