Beautifully! Gave us a free estimate quickly in writing, called ahead to let us know he was running a few minutes late. When we expanded the job, he emailed us an updated estimate. Dave met us early the first day so I could make an appointment. I provided him a key, and he was very trust worthy. Work began smoothly. After demo it became clear we needed an electrician. Dave brought someone in and supervised the electrical work and a few additional jobs in the house that we needed done. We decided to hire someone to paint the bathroom instead of doing it ourselves. Dave was very easy to communicate with. He called both my husband and I daily as things arose. For example, we thought we wanted the accent tile down low, but once he started working with the larger tile we purchased, it was clear that the low placement of the accent tile would not work. He made some suggestions and waited for us to come home that evening and take a look ourselves before deciding on a placement. He provided sound suggestions when we asked for his opinion. (For example, I asked him if our new light fixture would be enough light. He suggested adding two recessed lights. We initially bought a medicine cabinet and light fixture that were not compatible. He offered options of either a different light that extended further away from the wall or only a mirror under the light and putting a different cabinet over the toilet instead. Although we had not planned to replace the toilet, it got cracked during demo, so Dave replaced it for free. He sub contracted for electrical and painting. I would not recommend his painter, as the finer details were not precise. But when we told Dave we were not happy with the painting, he did everything to fix it for us. After installing the new sink and toilet, the main water turn off in the basement started leaking. Dave offered to come back right away, but we thought we could fix it. When the next day it was still leaking, he had his plumper call us, who gave us advice on how to fix it ourselves, saving us a $100 to have a plumper come. He was determined for us to absolutely happy with the bathroom before he was done and send us the final bill. Remodeling can be stressful and it was a pleasure to work with Dave!
