CREATIVE PAINTING

The owner of Creative Painting Company came out to give me the estimate and she was very knowledgeable. She followed up very closely on our contract. Her promises were all documented. If there were any changes she would send out a revised contract until we both agreed on it. She was willing to work with me. The actual painting was done by a sub-contractor. The quality of the work was not as good as expected. So, the workers from Creative Painting Company came and finished up and replaced some rotted wood. There was a leak from the gutter that was caused by the contractors which they could not repair. Also, there was a communication gap between me, the house owner and the owner of the company. So different stories were being passed around and that caused some confusion. However, the owner of the company was very responsible and took the initiative to take care of the miscommunication. She came out looked at the problems and immediately called in another contractor to fix the leaking problems. At the end the job was done to my satisfaction. The owner of the company was willing to remove items that were not completed from the original contract. For example the lead protection work was not done as promised so she removed that item from the contract and did not charge me for it. I would use Creative Painting Company in the future when required.

THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE, BUT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORKMANSHIP. OVERALL, IT WAS NOT A NEAT JOB. THE WORKERS AND OWNER WERE PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE BUT I WOULD NOT HIRE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.
