Mike arrived on the time he promised,  He looked over the items and indicated he could do the repairs.  Then he started making the repairs.  Once the repairs were under way I asked if he could do additional repairs not origianlly outlined in our conversation.  He was more than willing to help.  He looked at two or three additional items that were not originally discussed.  He even noticed an additional problem and repaired that item as well.  He finished all the work in acceptable manor and then gave me a bill for less than we originally discussed.  I then realized that I overlooked one problem and called him to see if he could come back to fix that item as well.  He had appointement he had to go to, but was back in less than 2 hours to make the additional repairs. 

Mike is very easy going and seems knowledgable about his craft.  I will use Mike again when repairs are needed.

This is the second time I have hired Mr. Powell & again I am completely satisfied with his excellent work & expertise. So far he has been able to fix everything I have requested. I have found Mr. Powell's demeanor to be professional, easy to get along with, courteous & straight forward.
Mr. Powell showed up on time. After a brief review & conversation regarding the prioritized list I emailed, he began his work right away.

After taking the old fans down on my 14 foot ceilings, he installed the new ones & balanced the fans so they are steady & quiet.

Plumbing leaks: he measured the areas so there was no guesswork as to the leaks' origination points. He found the causes, & their solutions.

Oven: the problem turned out to be two-fold. Mr. Powell asked some questions, found & fixed the first problem, then found a second problem & fixed that. Now my oven is working just fine again. No new parts, no service call to the home warranty company.

A number of other odd jobs were accomplished with precision.
I will certainly be using Mr. Powell's services again.

I hired Mr. Powell to fix a laundry list of things around the house & was completely satisfied from start to finish. He successfully performed each with ease. He was equally easy to communicate with & to deal with. It was evident that he was knowledgeable & experienced in a number of areas. There was nothing on my list he could not do, including a number of electrical projects. It has been several months & everything he fixed remained so! Quality work. I highly recommend Mike Powell & will definitely use his services again.

It was a nightmare all in all. He was hired to be a professional, not to try to get personal. I paid $200.00 on 6/26/10 to fix electrical, he returned several times after that to try to rectify the problem. I paid $300.00 on 10/22/10 for zip line installation and other small things; electrical was finally resolved at this time. He and I talked off and on and he tried to get things on a personal level. I told him that I wasn't interested, yet he hasn't got the message. He has continued to call me up to a month ago. I will not answer his calls nor return his messages. A new electrician has been hired from Angie's List to fix the electrical problem that was never resolved.

The light cost $100 and he charged us $20 for his time. He came out the next day after I called and did a great job. He was very pleasant to deal with. We keep calling him to do various kinds of work in the house. He's very fair, very prompt, very honest, and very trustworthy. He has always been on time and has completed the work whenever he has said he would. We will definitely keep using him. He's very fair with the pricing too.

Mike was fantastic. Very meticulous with his work, very neat. He had an entire carpentry shop on wheels! I can not say enough about his attention to detail, ease to work with, awesome ideas and thoroughness. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a quality job at a reasonable price. Distance didn't seem to be an issue.

This was a great experience. Mike first came out to look at the project and gave me an estimate via email. Once I asked him to do the work, it took a few weeks to get scheduled. Mike brought a trailer with a variety of tools and was able to do all of the above work on his own. He kept in touch but he did not bother me needlessly (I came to work). He was able to configure the shelving around the dimensions of my new washer/dryer (which had not arrived) so that it now appears built in. He was meticulous about cleaning up, he even shop vac'd my unfinished basement before he left and he took all of his construction type debris with him. I was impressed with the caliber of his work and completely comfortable leaving him in my home. I look forward to having Mike do more work for me in the future.

The work was completed over the course of 2 days due to some heavy rains that came through the area. We are very happy with the quality of our new cabinet and shutters. Mike was able to build the cabinet from our specifications and helped us design it after listening to our needs and assessing the space.
