STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a contractor.  We subsequently called another electrician (David Williams - who I highly recommend) who located the problem as a defective GFCI outlet that for some reason had been used in the bedroom (These are the type of outlet that is typically used in a bathroom or kitchen that has a built-in circuit breaker. Within an hour the problem was taken care of. Mr. Williams said that we did not need a heavy-up.I can't say for sure whether Congressional was dishonest or incompetent.  What I can say is the following:1. They wanted to perform an expensive project;2. They used a pressure tactic of a discount if we agreed to the work within 24 hours, which could have discouraged us from seeking a second opinion;3. When I called Jennifer at Congressional Electric related to my experience, she said that she would get pictures from the electrician and would get back to me.  She never did so despite my numerous attempts to call her;4. When I followed up withe the Better Business Bureau, they eventually told me that they had sent out inquiries to Congressional but that the company did not respond. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!

Company was supposed to come and install new outlets to mount a tv in my living room. The initial contact with the company was good, we scheduled a day for the work. On the day they did not show up, I had another contractor coming later that afternoon to mount the tv, so I kept calling them, and even drove to the office. I finally heard from Jennifer the office manager later in the afternoon, she stated that she was in a class and would try to get in touch with the guys who should have been there. She did not call me back that day or the next to explain what happened. I called several times, and sent several e-mails and till today I have never gotten an explanation or an apology for them not showing up, I had to call another electrician to do the job.

I called to have the company to come out at 5:30 they showed up at 5 and I was not home. I called again to set up a meeting with them and they were suppose to come out at 4:30 they did not show up. Every time that I try and call during their office hours I am unable to get a hold of anyone and just recieve their voice mail. I have been waiting for two weeks to get this job done.
