A main water pipe developed serious on the property outside our home.  Kevin came out and gave an estimate within 24 hours.  They gave us a fair estimate and start date within a few days.  When the repair proved impossible, the workers had to lay new underground pipe line.  This involved digging a trench which ran up a steep hill and through our brick patio, drilling a new entry into the house,  uninstalling and re-installing a built-in bookshelf in the basement and running pipe through the ceiling of the den to where the old pipes were. 
 The crew left the upheaval completely restored and site pristine.  The crew was very professional, polite, appropriate.  They worked hard.

They did a good job. It was competent work with a reasonable price.

I didn’t have them do the work. We ended up choosing another company to get the work done. The other company seemed to be better for what we were looking for. However, the guy who came out from Charles Cook & Sons Plumbing & Heating was informative, responsive and nice. He didn’t pressurize us for anything. I wouldn’t use their services and I don’t have anything against them but I have a greater comfort level with the other people who I chose for the job.

Professional. Prompt. Did the job right the first time.

We were generally pleased with the work and price. They were punctual and communicative about various options for doing the work. They were sometimes difficult to reach by phone. The only reason I would not give them an 'A' is that the new pipe that they used seems to have imparted a plastic flavor to the water. We still haven't figured out how to solve the problem but we will probably need to install some sort of filtration apparatus. I'm not sure to what extent they were aware that the materials they used caused this problem. We called them to see if they would be willing to come to our house and assess the problem but they never followed up with us to schedule an actual visit.

My brother uses them all the time. I had a leak in the ceiling. There was water on the floor. I called them and they came over. The guy was methodical in trying to figure out where the leak had come from. He went into the kitchen and checked behind the refrigerator. It seemed like a logical place. It was not there. He went to the top floor and he cut a small little hole a distance away from the wall which we thought would be the bathroom. The leak was not there. He made a hole above the refrigerator; large enough for him to go through and that was where the leak was. A nail had rubbed against a copper plate and the water had slowly leaked out. A portion of the ceiling about 1yard by 1 yard square came crashing down onto the bottom floor of a 3 storey townhouse. I appreciated the fact that they did not tear up my home in trying to figure out where the leak was. He looked at the logical places where a leak can be expected. It was above the refrigerator. It was higher than that so he went to the top floor. So there was minimum damage to the house. I took my brother’s advice and called them at 8 o’clock in the morning and they came the same day. I have also called them for a new garbage disposal unit. Their prices were high. They were very professional. They were efficient and very prompt in an emergency situation.

He told us it wasn't a pipe, it was the toilet. He did the work on the spot. I would recommend them. We also had a leaking faucet, replaced it fast and efficiently. He did an awesome job.

The plumber came on time. He checked the sink as well as basement access. He had to snake the drain, and replace a broken pipe. All was done within an hour. The kitchen had gotten a bit dirty, and he swept up after his work.

I HAD AN OKAY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY JUST DID SOME GENERAL PLUMBING THINGS FOR ME.

IMPRESSED BY THE PLUMBER'S HARD WORK, USING OVER 100 FEET OF SNAKING TO CLEAR THE CLOGGING IN THE DRAINS. THE PLUMBER ALSO DISCUSSED THE POSSIBLE CAUSES OF THE FREQUENT PROBLEMS, AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM.
