Showroom salesperson has not followed up at all. This and quot;two to three week joband quot; took the better part of three months. (job started on January 2.
I am still not satisfied with the way the cabinets open and close. They are supposed to and quot;soft closeand quot;; half do, half do not. Seems that you have to choose between and quot;soft closeand quot; and and quot;soft openand quot;, but you cannot have both.I emailed Customer Service ten days ago. asked that the sales rep, who made a nice commission, I'm sure, come out to check the work. Three days later, I texted the sales rep. A week has passed and I've received no response from anyone at Cabinet Discounters.
I actually thought about calling one of the Mikk family members, who I believe own Cabinet Discounters, but decided that Angie's List would get a better response.
"Mr. [removed member's name], At Cabinet Discounters, our goal is a Referral from every Job so we are certainly disappointed that you are dissatisfied with our performance. It was our understanding that you had some concerns with some cabinet doors opening too wide so we provided new 90 degree hinges for your cabinetry along with the soft close to address your concern. When our representative, Chuck Carns was last at your house on March 25th to review the hinges he installed on March 3rd and explain how they operate, he thought that your were satisfied with the results of his work. We certainly apologize and in looking at our scheduling, Chuck is again scheduled to visit your jobsite tomorrow April 15th. We certainly hope this address your outstanding concerns. Thank You, John Mikk, Jr."
We worked with Mike as part of our contract with Bethesda-based ART Design Build and Grossmueller's Design Consultants. Mike led us to ART Design, and we are so grateful to him for doing so. He enabled us to now have the kitchen of our dreams. We love the Brighton cabinetry and the granite, and would recommend Mike and Cabinet Discounters in an instant. Don't hesitate to work with Mike and the store!
She ordered the cabinets and gave me a delivery date. Everything in the order was correct and the guys delivered the cabinets when agreed.
The best part of working with Lu Morley (unlike some other places I went) was that she respected my budget and did not push more expensive cabinets. Other vendors huffed or sighed when they knew I did not have a big budget.
