Kevin Ricci and his team are fantastic. Kevin worked patiently/diligently/creatively with me to hone the project in a way that accommodated my needs, preferences, and budget. He and his team were incredibly hardworking and responsive to requests before and during the project. Kevin has a deep knowledge of and passion for this work, and it shines through in both the journey and the final product. My house's curb appeal went from 0 to 100. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.

Birchwood Lawn Care has done an amazing job helping us care for our lawn and landscaping for the last 2 years. We first hired Birchwood when my husband had surgery and was unable to mow last year, and they did such a great job we continued to have them help us. Our bushes have NEVER looked as good as when the Birchwood crew trims and shapes them, and all the trimmings and grass is cleared away when they leave. Thank you Birchwood for taking such good care of our yard. I just recommended Birchwood to a friend and wanted to be sure to share with the Angie’s List community too. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for assistance with their yard and landscaping!

I initially used Birchwood when I had neck surgery and I couldn't mow my lawn. They did such a good job that I continued to use them when I bought a second place and didn't have time to maintain the lawn myself. Since then I've expanded their use to include trimming the hedges. They do a great professional job and always leave the area clean and sharp looking.

The men came and mowed the grass weekly. I just moved into a new home. Hired this company and my siding was dented by the mower that the rode on to do the grass and fertilizing the yard. They never told me they dented the siding until one day I walked outside after they left and saw the damage. Then they came and mowed again breaking my daughter sunflower plants she grew from seed and never had the decency to knock on the door to let us know. When we came home to look at the backyard it was laying on the ground. Kevin the owner called me I missed his call after trying to reach him 25 times on the phone and email. He called I text him back he said he called was a misdial. He is a coward and I would never hire his company again. No regret shown by damaging our new home.

I would highly recommend this company. They are responsible, fair and easy to work with. With the climate change and the recent heavy rains the drainage system in my backyard needed some changes and more drains. I contacted the company and received a response a day later. Within a few days they came out to assess the situation. They were on time for their appointment and spent an hour or so we me going over possibilities to improve the backyard water drainage. I received a written proposal the next day which was very complete and reasonable. A week later they came out and completed the work in less than a day.

Wow! These guys are professionals. Super fast communication via the Angie's List app throughout the process. We had a minor issue with scheduling, but no complaints whatsoever. They came next day, sent 10 men and 2 trucks. Whipped the backyard into shape in about an hour! Super polite and professional. Truly a well oiled machine.

The team does a great job of storing the lights and decorating the house every year. Punctual, friendly, great coordinators, and they’re like part of our annual family tradition now.

We purchased an 8 hour Big Deal. The owner, Kevin, was very responsive and scheduling was very easy. He and two others came to the house. My wife went through the list of things we would like done including weeding, trimming and pruning. They removed a couple of dead trees and bushes. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. The yard looks much better now. I would hire Kevin and his crew without any hesitation.

Excellent! The crew is hardworking and courteous. When here for the spring cleanup, trimming and mulching, they made sure it was what we wanted before they left--our yard looks terrific!

Kevin did an excellent job! Kevin was punctual, courteous, and diligent. He worked on the lawn for the allotted 4 hours, completing everything we asked him to do. Furthermore, the lawn looked spectacular after he was done. Thank you, Kevin!

B- overall. Some years went better and some years went worse. Great prices and good quality on average, with various issues that Kevin was generally responsive to. He did not respond to my last request for service at my new property.

Very well done! Birchwood has done out holiday lights for several years including years that won neighborhood accolades for the decorations.  They are very effective and well organized.  i would not hesitate to recommend them.

Kevin Ricci the business owner has visited my property a few times during the course of the year to make sure that the job is being done in accordance with our agreement.  He also is responsive when I call him with a request for additional work.  His business is licensed and insured and his workers are long-time employees who are professional and respectful when they show up each week to work on my property.  While they are working on a job at my home, they have helped with requests for small plantings and weeding.
They do a very good job maintaining my property and this allows me to focus on my own garden projects (which I'm sure they would do but I enjoy planting).  Next year, they will continue maintaining the lawn and help clear an area behind our property for future use.
The cost was reasonable and we finished paying for all services by the end of the season.  I recommend this company landscaping and for maintaining residential properties like ours.
