 + 0 moreAlthough Welmoed primarily sews window treatments, she did a terrific job on my slipcovers. She gave me excellent design advice, convincing me to use contrasting piping by photographing the loveseat draped in my fabric and then Photoshopping in the piping. She also does the work herself. She will not ship your work off to someone else. But she is not an amateur. She is certified by the Window Coverings Association of America and regularly exhibits at the International Window Coverings Expo.
Description of Work: Welmoed made a slipcover for my loveseat (it had four separate cushions and a skirt) and one for a double-sized skirted ottoman. Her price did not include the main fabric, but did include 6 yards of contrast fabric for the piping and the underskirt as well as pick-up and delivery. She did not charge extra for using multiple fabrics (Calico Corners charges $65 for that).
