I was paying by the hour and not home while the work was being done, the tech did not milk the time on the job, which he could have very easliy done.

Excellent. I priced a couple of places. I could have gotten the units a little cheaper, but the installation was great. Very quick and very professional. B&B has been my go-to heating and AC company for a couple of years now. Always fast response and professional service.

They looked at the heat pump first, then went upstairs to check the furnace. I asked if I needed to move anything (small bathroom) and they said no, they could squeeze by. They asked if I was changing my furnace filter regularly (yes, every three months) and said the furnace was fine. Then they went  back outside to check the heat pump. I expressed concern that the flexible pipe leading from the unit to the wall was damp but they said that meant it was doing its job. They asked if I'd like to sign up for a yearly contract and I said no. They didn't put any pressure on me to sign up which was good. They asked if I'd like to have the temperature set back to where it was and then set it for me. It's hot and muggy today so I was happy they offered to turn the A/C back on so quickly.

I've been using this company for several years - they always send me a coupon for discounted service and they always give good service. I called yesterday to confirm my appointment today which was scheduled between 1 and 5. At about 12:45 today a friendly woman called to tell me the techs were on their way, and at exactly 1:00, they rang the doorbell. They were finished in less than half an hour. Every year I get excellent service from them and highly recommend them.

After asking for proposals I expected a more active response since I was an old time customer. The response was somewhat late and the price to replace the system was higher then otter company what was a big surprise for me. I cancelled my contracted and will have the service done by the other company (rated very well with Angel's list). The new company is offering an annual maintenance fee that is 50 dollars cheaper and the system will be top of the line plus humidifier and air cleaner cheaper than what B&B proposed. Also B&B does not offer no interest financing and this new company has a deal that is 5 years no interest.

I have a contract with them. If something breaks, I get priority scheduling. I would refer them and I would use them. I am okay with their price. They were recommended to me and I have been happy with them.

Technician asked if I had a garden hose that he could use.  I did.  He bled the system.  The noise was still present.  A supervisor was called in.  He brought his own hose and bled the system again.  Within a couple days the noise was back.  I called in another company who within 10 minutes diagnosed the problem as a stuck air release valve.  Everything has been fine since then.  Besides not fixing the problem, when B and B left, I found that my bathroom rug was soaked and the floor in the shower stall had a greasy film covering it.

There not perfect but will stand behind what they do and do seem to care.They come 2x a year to do preventive maintenance.I own a service business also, The Mowerman, and they helped me set up service contracts and I`ve talked to the President about some of my business issues and he gave me advise and was very helpful.And he didn't have to do that.So I feel they're an excellent company...

They've done other work for us too.  They are always punctual and helpful.

We had them on a maintenance contract for about 9 years.  The maintenance contract gives you priority response and free labor.  They were always responsive and professional, and the techs came on time.  If they made a mistake and it was pointed out (over 9 years it happened once or twice), they were professional about fixing their mistake promptly with no argument and no extra charge.  We did discover that the markup on parts (not covered by the contract) was very high (3X + wholesale for a thermostat, for example), and when we had to replace our heat pump system, we discovered that their prices were about twice the usual range of other prices bid. We went with another company on the replaecment. I would not use them again simply because of the price issue. Their techs were prompt, responsive, and courteous, and they fulfilled their part of the contract.

B&B has done regular maintenance on our system for 3 years.  They sometimes suggest unnecessary maintenance but they show up on time and are clean and are responsive to appointment requests.

After disassembly and reassembly of my unit, they always recommend that the coils be cleaned for an additional $85. Why, when they had access to the coils to note that they needed cleaning, did they not just dust them off. I also found 3 loose screws lying alongside the unit after the "service" was completed.

This company has been absolutely wonderful to deal with since they first put in our new heater and air conditioner.  They have always been professional, have advised me regarding proper maintenance and seem genuinely interested in customer service.  Everyone of the technicians have treated my house with respect, being careful to not track on the carpets or cause the slightest inconvenience.  They have carefully explained the work to be done and additional options for maintenance.  Though it has always been a suggestion and never a hard sell.  The maintenance contract has been a money saving addition to my budget.  Overall, I am very pleased with the service and have recommended the company to all my friends.

We have endless problems with this heat pump. We keep getting  it repaired. They do not know what they are doing. The products they sold us have been unsatisfactory. The quality of the service has also been unsatisfactory. Again, they do show up and they do work. We do eventually have heat and air conditioning. Yet, the system always makes noise and breaks down.

We've been using them for 10-15 years. We have a maintenance agreement with them; they come twice a year for maintenance.

Good and speedy installation. Found out later the cost was very high and they charged three times the retail price for their air filters. Dropped them and went with Gaithersburg Air and am now very satisfied.

Overall work was good. Sometimes, needed replacement items were missed. Sometimes extra items were suggested for the heat pump system which were not necessary.

They are friendly and knowledgeable and they do not try to sell you things you do not need.
