Kudos to Gelber and his wonderfully professional crew at Alcides Deck and Fence for refurbishing the fence at my property in Pikesville, Md. Gelber and his team installed the original deck and fence at my property approximately 7 years ago, and when I needed sections of the fence removed due to severe tree root yard damage, I called Gelber again to handle the job, and man did his team deliver. Sections of the fence has been replaced, and they patched up loose boards, as well as tidying up after themselves. Please to give Alcides Deck and Fence high marks for being affordable, professional, responsible and respectful.

The workmanship was top notch and they were able to get the job done 10 days after receiving the bid Highly recommended.

It took them a few days to reply/follow-up on my quote but they installed a beautiful fence in record time. I am very happy with the final result.

Very easy to work with, geeat working knowledge of every detail around code and best practice for deck support and stairs, yet flexible with design details. Without needing to spell out every detail, the team built a deck that is extremely sturdy and attrac tive, adding numerous nice finishing touches. Everything went up quickly and smoothly, and the area was cleaned up when done. Also got a great looking 6 foot high fence with gates from them.

Gelber and his crew did a fantastic job quoting and installing my replacement fence. In addition to coming out twice to measure as the project scope changed due to neighbors’ concerns, his crew was able to add some needed repairs to the existing, older fence the day of the job. The crew was professional, considerate, and does quality work.

We received estimates from three fencing contractors for a fence that would keep the deer out of our backyard. There was no difference in their cost estimates. Gelber Lemus for Alcides was the quickest to respond to our request (The next day!), showed us actual prototypes and helped us to decide on a six-foot aluminum fence and two customs gates - one aluminum and the other wood picket with lattice trim. The turn around was very reasonable and the crew could not have been more professional and responsive to my concerns. The project was not easy, with overgrowth along the fence line and hilly terrain. The finished project looks fantastic! I am so glad we chose Alcides Fence.

I had about 66' of fence replaced and added a gate. I had a neighbor recommend Alcides. I am so impressed for this company. I had a good feeling from the moment I met Gelber. He and his men installed my fence in about 2.5 hours. They even removed some of the branches that had gotten in the way and cleaned everything before they left. The fence looks great! The price was fair and work was done quickly. What more can you ask for?
