Sean and his team was very professional and got straight to work upon arrival. It really was a sight to see to how they worked together to get the job done. You could certainly tell they knew their trade and were very good at it. It was amazing to see the guys scale and trim the tree hanging by a rope. After the job was done they cleaned up everything better than what it looked like before their arrival. The crew was very friendly and communicated with me throughout the entire job. I will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs for sure!

The crew arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job. The work site was left in great condition with the stump ground completely down and grass seed put down. A totally fantastic experience from start to finish.

The arborist crew arrived on schedule and on time. They were very professional, and cleaned up all debris after they completed the job. We were very happy with the work that they performed and would definitely hire them for future jobs, as well as recommend them to anyone looking for any type of tree service.

It all went great.....I paid for one hour of cleanup with 3 guys....this is what the coupon stated. They worked fast and I got a good one hours worth of work.

Hometown was the most reasonable priced of the 5 quotes we received, they were prompt responsive and clean. They did everything they were supposed to removing all parts of the tree, grinding the stumps and raking the debris. Our foreman was great to deal with and they finished in 3.5 days. I would highly recommend these guys.

Hometown Tree Experts did a FANTASTIC job. From the time I met with Sean for the estimate to the time they left, this operation was the height of professionalism. I couldn't get over how efficient and knowledgable the crew was. They dropped the maple in less than 2 hours, which was impressive because this tree was between two houses, right beside a covered porch, and hanging over an older, fragile wooden fence. Non of these structures were damaged at all during the process. I must describe Klever (the gentleman doing the chainsaw work up in the tree) nothing short of a craftsman/artist, as he worked with such expertise and finesse. The entire crew was working diligently the entire time and finished the job somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.5 hrs. Very impressive. They left the property very clean and as long as we continue to live in the area they service, we will most definitely call them for our tree work needs. Thank you to Sean for being so personable, helpful, and accommodating. You and your entire crew were a pleasure to work with. Cannot recommend Hometown Tree Experts any more highly!

The work went very well. The team is professional, especially the supervisor Elmer. It's been about a year since the work was done and we have not had any major issues. There have been a couple small things come up (some expected settling and minor drainage issues), but Hometown has been very responsive and professional in addressing them, even a year later.

We bought the deal for $300 for $500 of tree services but spent more for extra work.

The front yard looks great! They hauled away all debris and got rid of the stumps.

The crew showed up at 7:30 each day to start work. They took down 3 very large trees all close to the house. They worked very efficiently and had all the trees down and chipped/hauled in under 2 days. The third day they came back to grind the stumps, fill with loam and seed. They also trimmed some low branches on 1 tree and cut a few dead limbs off another as a courtesy! Each day they left the site completely cleaned up - raking, clearing chips from the street/driveway, etc. The neighbor had some issues with them blocking their driveway and standing in their yard to do work on 1 large tree right on the property line. Hometown offered and ground a stump they had in their yard free of charge. Overall I was very happy with their service. Very professional crew. Fair price. Showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. What more can you ask?

The original contact was very good. The receptionist contacted me promptly and was very nice and professional. The problem was that in the end they were a no-call and no-show. I was on a short time-frame because I am moving in a couple weeks. We scheduled an appointment, they had to change the day before, so we changed. My wife is arranging time to wrap up things and meet with various contractors, so our time is very precious right now. My wife contacted me over an hour after scheduled arrival to say they did not show up. She called them to find out what happened, and she was told that there was a minimum fee they would work for, and apparently they were concerned our space was too small to warrant that fee. I understand the minimum fee, and I understand the concern, but I don't understand why they then neither showed up nor called for the scheduled appointment. In the time we waited, we could have been doing other things and scheduling someone else. They knew our garden was small from the first contact, so we should have been informed then. Barring that, they should have simply showed up as promised. I don't care if they had to travel two hours (I'm exaggerating) - they made a professional commitment. I don't want to disparage anyone's business lightly, but this bothered me a lot - it was extremely unprofessional. I will reiterate again that they seemed very helpful at the beginning, and I assume their was some sort of break-down in process, but I never received an explanation why I was not treated with the respect any customer deserves. Based on this, I cannot recommend.

excellent--they were so great and professional. they came and cut the tree down, left no mess and hauled it away with them. No muss no fuss. I would def use their services again!

I called HomeTown Tree experts after a recommendation on our community list serve and after a comparison with other quotes I received (one of them was a quote for $4000!), decided to go ahead. I had a couple of sheds on my back yard as well as a fenced gate which prevented any vehicles to come in and haul the tree away and had to be done manually. They started the work at 8 in the morning and left at about 2 in the afternoon. It was hard work since my backyard had a steep slope and the workers had to haul the heavy stuff to their trucks. I tipped them before they left and promised to call them if I had Tree work on my property (got 5 more but healthy ones so not anytime soon I hope!)

They were really good with the tree service, they were really good. They did a really nice job. They went and they came out. The guy that was there was very knowledgeable. When they came out and did the actual tree trimming, they didn't do everything they said they were going to do the first time and I called them up and said I don't think that as done all the way and they were okay we'll come out and do it some more and did that and were great. I was very pleased and good recovery on their part and ended up doing a very nice job for me. I paid more because there was more work to be done but I was still pleased with the price. The guy that did the tree estimates was really good, very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Then, they came back when I was concerned about something and did a good job after that. I thought they were responsive as well as knowledgeable.

Job site was inspected, crew came and removed the tree quickly and efficiently.

Two guys for two hours. They did a great job trimming trees and removing dead tree. Some branches were not cut back far enough, squirrels were still able to jump onto roof. Called Hometown. They came back out and trimmed branches back further at no cost. They did a great job cleaning up when they were done.

It was fine. He came out right away. They were nice and polite. They cleaned up when they were finished. My community had a tree service come out 6 months later and they did a lot more pruning then.

They arrived on time, went over the work I wanted to have done, completed the work in rapid fashion in my priority order, and did an outstanding job of cleaning up all the debris.

They did a great job on a tremendous holly that had grown into the power lines where they enter my house. It was a trickier than usual job because of the power lines, the height and size of the holly, plus the stickers, and they did a very nice, careful job and cleaned up the trimmings nicely.
