My experience has been very dissatisfying. I contacted the company many times regarding setting up the appointment. We finally set up an appointment and they never came out. I then had to contact the company and they said someone called me Monday to try to reschedule. I checked my messages and never received a voice mail. It turned out they did not even service my area. I would have appreciated them telling me in the beginning that they did not service my area. They have poor customer service and I would not recommend this company to others.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out fine. I liked the way they handled the coming out to look at what I needed to have done, and made sure they knew what I wanted to do, before they gave me the estimate. They had to do the work very carefully.

He spent an hour. I think it is a good price. I was happy with the price. Everything was very professional.

Excellent company. Extremely professional. Owner obviously cares about his clients. To find this kind of professional, customer service oriented owner in today's world is refreshing.

Due to the rains it took several weeks for them to schedule the appointment, but communication was good when it was our time. They trimmed the trees and bushes as asked. They advised me that severely pruning the bushes might leave them quite bare which it did, but it is expected to recover. I would use them again

We were under the impression that the business would contact the homeowner and were waiting for a couple of months. We called the when we received a note from Angie's list requesting a review. So we contacted the company to set up a time. They responses and John came over to assess the work that needed to be done. We needed two trees trimmed and one tree removed. In addition, We needed some evergreen shrubs trimmed. He said that he would do whatever was possible in one hour with 4 men. Everything was done except the trimming of the evergreen shrubs. We were happy with the work they did. One of the men in the team said that another group would return to trim the evergreens. We waited but no one came. We called/emailed them to find out when they would return, and were told that that cost would be $150 more. We thought that was a little steep for shrubs and decided not to go forward with it. Other than that, it was a good experience and will use them in the future if needed.

Person came out on time and was friendly and seemed knowledgable. He told me he would get me an estimate for the work the same day or the next by email. The estimate never came. I called 4 days later and the person I spoke with said, "oh right, I will be sending that to you today. " That was 4 days ago and I still haven't received anything. Fortunately there are plenty of alternatives in the area. This firm does not seem to have its sh#t together.

Everything came off perfectly. The crew cleaned up and removed all of the debris. It looks like a whole different house.

It went great. They came out on the previous Monday to spray herbicide to kill the grass that was in the beds. On Thursday I got a call asking if they could come the next day to do the work. I went to exercise, by the time I got home the beds had been cleaned out the bushes planted and they were doing the mulch in the larger of the two beds. My yard looks great now. I smile everytime I look out the window.

Jeff, a company representative, came out to the house to check out what the job would entail, and a date of 6/5/2013 was established to do the work. The crew showed up early on that date, but no one called first, nor did they even ring the doorbell to announce they were here. But that was only a minor issue. Other than that, they did a very good job of trimming the tree, shredding the debris, and cleaning up. I was very pleased.

The owner met with me about my job. This is actually the 2nd time I've used them. He was right on time for our initial appointment. He stated that he'd be able to cut down about 4-5 of the cherry trees, that they would have to be climbed and cut from the top due to their proximity to my home and a neighbor's home, but that they would take all the debris with them, minus the trunk pieces so that I could dispose of them, so as not to go outside the deal. I also asked him to provide an estimate for putting in a natural fence in my wooded area (trees) so that I could eliminate the view of my neighbor's backyard. They provided me with the estimate, but have to put that project on hold for a bit. They called to inform me they were planning to arrive a day earlier than they actually did, but since I wasn't going to be home either day, it didn't matter to me. They came by and removed all 5 trees, cleaned up the debris, and left me with nicely cut and stacked pile of the remaining wood. I had planned that we would need to cut them up, so that was a lovely surprise! They put a sign in the yard advertising their services, which I am happy to do! I look forward to another deal so that I can get the remaining tree stumps ground down and begin to use landscaping services.

Had a little trouble with understanding the grinding did not mean removal of shred dings. Don't remember that being true earlier. However, they responded and removed grindings for an additional $50.00.

I had two trees that were in need of significant pruning. They pruned the trees and were also able to prune two very tall bushes. They did an excellent job, and I would use them again without any hesitation.

The company did a good job of trimming and shaping our trees. They cleaned up all debris and were very professional. The downside is that they had so much work that setting an appointment was very difficult. I had to contact them many times over the course of a month or more before they actually scheduled a date.

Everything went fine. We purchased their coupon and they came out to see how much they could do for it. We ended up contracting them to do some more work for an additional $200. Everything went very smoothly. They hauled away all the debris and left our yard completely clean. Very satisfied!

I thought this Deal was a bait and switch. I was not happy at all, they came for an estimate and gave me an extremely high bid, tripling what I already paid for the Deal.

.Excellent. Prior to the job being performed, the owner/manager scoped out the job site and the tree that I wanted removed. On the agreed upon day, a work crew of 4 guys arrived. They knew what they are doing and had the right equipment to get the job done. I would definitely employ this firm again. Good, clear communication throughout. Efficient and courteous tree removal crew.

They did it they did not have to remove as many as requested. but price was the same with many people at less. They were very professional and prompt and this is why I will use them again over and over. The quickness cleanliness is a YES, I could have priced around but I needed the work done quickly and they did it. HIP HIP Hurray.

Representative came to my house and walked the yard with me. We agree on what needed to be done. Job was delayed due to the heavy rains. When I called the office and asked that the job be completed before my house went on the market, a crew came by and performed the work.

The job went well. The tree trimmers removed the limbs and cleaned up the leaves and other debris.

It was fantastic. I got the $199 Big Deal. A rep came out and I showed him the dead branches I wanted removed and the trees I wanted trimmed. Between the time I talked to him and the crew came out a large branch on one of the trees broke and was hanging from the tree. The crew took care of everything including the newly fallen branch. I would definitely use them again. Even the clean up was done well.

Receptionist was very nice. Set up an appt for Hometown to review the tree. Original estimate was for $199 coupon plus an additional $200 to drop tree and remove it, no stump removal in that price. Coupon was for 4 man hours (or 4 men for 1 hour.) I was surprised as I had received estimates for $250 for total removal including stump, but had already committed to the coupon and thus was locked in to using Hometown. I did not want to exceed the coupon value and so asked for them to keep within the coupon value of 4 man hours. I was told they were scheduling two weeks out. 11 days later I received a call from the neighbor that the tree had been dropped on Friday before Father's Day weekend. The tree had been dropped and cut into about six 5' sections and left on the deep slope where it had been felled. The stump remained. The neighbor reports that the crew was there for 15-20 minutes. I did not receive a call that this was being done that day. It was awkward timing as we were expecting guests for Father's Day. I wedged branches under the trunk sections so they would not roll down the hill (or over any of the curious neighbor children who had been climbing over them) until I could get to it the next day. It took myself and another middle-aged companion about 2 hours to fill 3 trashcans with twigs and branches and set them on the curb for brush pickup. And to carry the trunk sections up the hill, using a wheelbarrow and then on to the landfill. I imagine it would've taken the four young strong men a much briefer time and could easily have been completed, or substantially completed, in the 45 minutes they had remaining on the clock. Most importantly I feel that the way they left the trunk unsecured and on a steep slope, was a real hazard for the little ones in the neighborhood. All in all, the company answered professionally, responded to email queries in a timely fashion, scheduled quickly, performed the task and invoiced correctly and on time. The business process was painless. But the coupon was overvalued, the crew worked less than the time allotted for the Big Deal and the job could have been completed within the allowed time. The work site should not have been left hazardous. I've watched the Angie's deals. I have a fair idea of what the value of services should be in my area. I've not felt that any of them were particularly great deals and so this is the first- and the last- one that I will purchase.

The crew was very professional and good humored, accommodating my rather erratic instructions.

This was an Angie's List special deal, $200 for 4 man hours of tree work. A representative from the company came out to assess the job. We agreed on what should be done. 2 weeks later, a 3 man crew showed up to complete the job. They moved flower pots to protect them from falling branches. They cleaned up the 2 oak trees. Many dead branches were cut out. They did a great job cleaning up and replacing the flower pots. I would use them again.

lI purchased the Big Deal of $199 for four hours of tree work and John from Hometown arrived at my residence right on time. I showed him the work I wanted done and he told me what could be done in four hours under the Big Deal and what would be additional. Before he departed I asked him to give me an approximate cost to take down a tree that was devoid of leaves at the top branches. He came back with an unbelievably low price and it seemed to good to be true. He explained that his crew would be onsite to do the trimming work and taking down the tree was straightforward. John said the tree would likely be dead in the next few years and his technicians could not climb a dead tree. There was no pressure on his part but I felt that he was providing me with information that would ultimately save me money. I had a proposal from Hometown within a day of John's visit. His crew did a thorough job of trimming and now my neighbor's garden gets more light and i don't have tree branches overhanging my deck and leaving a real mess in the fall and I have two viburnums that are not getting crowded out by a beech tree. When I came home from work I noticed a few tree shavings in my lawn and that was it. Quality work done at an excellent price and what homeowner can ask for more.
