Howard was great. He was very professional and respectful. He initially came out the week before and noted a birds nest in one of the gutters. Instead of disturbing the nest he waited and performed the service after the birds left. He adjusted the level of our front gutters resulting in a better flow. I would use them again.

Marc Burkett came to clean out our gutters. He was polite, professional, and he informed us of his progress through the work. In addition to clearing our gutters, he performed minor repairs to gutter downspouts and roof flashing as he came across them. He finished the job by blowing away all leaf detritus that had been cleared from our gutters, and he left our walkways, yard, and patio clear and clean.

Marc Burkett was the technician/exterior specialist assigned to perform the roof tune-up. He provided great service all around. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Throughout the project, he took the time to explain the current status of our roof and I felt that he was very honest with the work that needed to be completed.

Roof Tech knew what he was doing and pointed out the small cracks in the roofing sealer and where a bullet had come down and punctured the skin of the roof. He re-sealed the cracks and bullet hole and after heavy rain the tenant reported no leaks.

Chuck showed up early and did a quick survey. He cleaned the gutters and did some minor repairs on the roof. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Did a great job, I would hire them again in a heartbeat

Everything went very well. The gutter cleaning went smoothly and the inspections were thorough, including pictures. We had holes into our attic from wood peckers that were repaired in a very professional manner. A great job was also done on a pvc pipe extension to the downspout that is under our deck that needed to be re-attached - a nasty crawl on your belly job that was very appreciated to get done!

Excellent, these people are very professional, courteous and helpful with maintenance tips. Resisted and replaced various patches plus a hole where a critter must have damaged. They also aligned our gutter, and painted vents. Reasonably priced.

Unbelievable the most pleasant home improvement process we have EVER witnessed! The technician, Howard Shires, went above and beyond, not only giving us a thorough inspection of our gutters, but also, priceless advice on further "care & feeding" of the roof and downspout assemblies. He even, out of the kindness of one of the biggest hearts we have ever known, accomplished a quick repair on the front gutter of an elderly neighbor. If the rest of the American Home Contractor workforce is as well qualified as Howard then I surely agree AHC is the last home contractor you will ever need! KUDOS!!!

Excellent work delivered materials 1 day, removed the roof and 20 sheets of plywood that needed replacing the next day, even cleaned my rain spouts. Did a good job of cleaning up debris on a brutally hot day. Professional work. Was a package deal I purchased through Angie's List, total cost was a hair over $8000, which was $2000 less than the next lowest estimate for a 50 yr roof. The highest estimate was $16,000 so it really pays to shop around.

AHC was terrific to work with. Our coordinator made the process simple and smooth and worked easily with our insurance company. The work foreman was readily accessible during the project and the crew did a very quick and thorough job.

This is probably one of the best deals I have gotten. I would use it again if needed. Howard Shires was great. He took care of things that he didn't need to and was not trying to push me into anything. He was very honest.

Excellent. Several small areas in need of repair were brought to our attention and taken care of within the expected cost. Chuck did a great job, confirming things we knew were to be watchful of. He was pleasant, efficient, and professional.

My gutters did not need to be cleaned out. I was impressed at their honesty in not performing an unnecessary service.

Most of work done involved the roof and I had to pay extra ($70) for that. He said he cleaned the gutters with his hands. I thought a water hose would be used. I have no way to check so I guess I have to take his word.

They came & cleaned it up without letting the mold spread into the house. I needed some wood repaired & they went above & beyond to find someone to match the damaged wainscoting. They were professional & nice as well.

The technician showed up very promptly at the time expected and was EXTREMELY professional and detailed in going over everything he found during his inspections. Stuck around to answer any questions I had and even gave some advice regarding our solar panels (which are entirely outside their scope of work). Would absolutely recommend.

The service was great. Our gutter technician was Howard Shires. He did a great job. Not only did he clean & tightened the gutters. He also inspected the entire roof and attic for leaks and wear & tear. He showed us pictures of the gutter before and after. He also showed us pics of the roof. He didn't try to upsale us. When he showed us the pics, we knew we needed a new roof, so I called the next day to schedule a roof estimate. We paid $99 through Angie's List.

Chuck provided exceptional service. He was very informative and took the time to do the work, explaining everything in detail. He took a number of pictures so he could show me before and after pictures, took the time to show me what he found afterword. He was so informative that it made me feel comfortable and competent about having future work done.

Marc performed a "roof tune-up" and was extemely thorough and very professional. He called that he was on his way and was on-time. He completely canvassed the roof exterior and interior ceilings. The write up was complete and easy to understand. I would defiantely hire American Home Contractors again!
