Eric was awesome! Diagnosed and repaired our roof leak, and gave us a report card on our overall roof, gutters and attic situation. We had a big rain event after the repair, and we were dry as a bone!

Excellent. Of the 3 estimates (2 from Angie's list) American Home Contractors (AHC) gave the most thorough description of the work to be done and took the time to explain the components of the shingling process (various underlayments, etc). Their estimate was also the most reasonable. I got up on the roof a week afterwards and was impressed by the straightness of the shingles along the gutters and along the neighbors' roofs, also it was very clean- not a bunch of nails left on the roof or in the gutter. The HOA required a black roof so I had no choice in that, but what really impressed me about AHC was that they spray painted the vent pipe black to match the roof and pipe seal/collar. To me that shows they took extra steps and extra time to do a professional job. Couldn't be more pleased, would highly recommend.

AHC did a great job on our project. John, the sales rep/project manager was very professional and responsive to our questions/concerns. He also helped us figure out the best options for roofing & gutter materials. Crews were skilled, efficient, and, at the end of installation, thorough with their clean up. Would hire them again.

Went great. Technician,Will,arrived on time. Showed him some issues I had wi th the existing gutters and sownspouts. He took care of cleaning them and tuning up some fastness as well as gave me a run down on what shape they were in overall. I was very impressed and am in the process of getting an estimate to have new gutter installed on the next few weeks.

It turned out great.? It was a wonderful experience.? It was just completed and inspected 2 days ago.? Everything went well.? It was a very good transaction.? Everything turned out nicely and I would recommend them highly.? I think the pricing compared to others was an A.? Everything was fine with them so I would say an A on everything.? When they set a certain time they were setting in the driveway at that time.? They worked their tails off.

It went well. The Tech, Charles, They were punctual, polite and professional.

The job went perfectly, Work was scheduled between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. Howard Shires of American Home Contractors arrived at about 8:20. He did the work quickly and professionally. He took pictures of the pertinent areas of the roof for discussion. He replaced several broken shingles. All is good. It is not totally clear in the Angie's List ad but the listing indicated that the job will cost $74. but that is to lock in the total price of $149. In other words, I had paid Angie's List $74 but I needed to pay an additional $75 to the roofer to get the work done. It is still a good deal but it came as a surprise.

Everything went well, and the price was right, would use this person again. keep up the good work Tony.

Howard arrived on time and took several pictures of my roof. Unfortunately, the ridge vent needs to be repaired or replaced which is something they don't do. I would consider using this company in the future.

It took a bit longer to have the work done as we had to reschedule three times due to rain. Zero fault of AHC of course. But each time the folks at the office were very professional at getting me back on their schedule. They confirmed the appointment the day before each time as well. Marc, the technician that did the actual inspection/work, was a pleasure to work with. He did the roof inspection and also pointed out a few areas that needs attention around the windows.

All went well - smoothly and relatively quick. Chuck F. did a great job! And, he patiently explained everything that was going on with my gutters. He showed me before and after pictures and walked me through the entire repair process.

Very well. Marc Burkett was puzzled at the location of the leak at first (as was every other contractor I'd contacted) but once he went up to roof he diagnosed the issue right away (something no other contractor had offered to do). Several nails had popped and a couple were put in wrong when I had roof replaced 15 years ago. He quickly patched and sealed the areas without removing any shingles. He told me I should have no more problems. He did suggest I keep my bucket in attic until the next hard rain just to be sure. If any leak spotted call back and AHC would send him out to check, but he really doubted I'd have any further issues.

More work to be done. Professional roof inspection with photos documenting issues and showing repairs. Necessary parts to be ordered and installed later.

Steve arrived right on time; was very professional and personable. He took pictures so I could see what things looked like up there. He flushed everything out and cleaned up the mess created by that process. He also reattached a bracket that he found had come loose. I have a very small bungalow so it didn't take long to do the job which was nice for a Saturday morning appointment. I am pleased to report I wouldn't hesitate to hire American Home Contractors again. I now know the condition of my gutters and also know a bit more than I did before about the roof as well. I feel it was a fair price for the services provided. Thank you AHC for a job well done.

Chuck and Howard came out right on time. It being an old Victorian, they had very high, steeply sloping roofs to deal with, but they managed just fine. What I appreciated was that they didn't just look at the gutters, clean out a couple sticks, then charge me and leave.Instead, they took a very thorough look at not only the gutters, but at the roof as well to see if there were any larger issues that might have been causing the gutter problems. Both Chuck and Howard were thorough, professional, and helpful. They thought through options of what work needed to be done without trying to push any particular option.

It went great. They cleaned and relined my gutters. They also took pictures and sent them to me.

When the deal was online and I signed up for it, I then had to wait over a month for them to come out. It was for gutter issues, and it happened to rain a lot, so I was not expecting to have to wait such a long time to have them come out. I was real disappointed with that. I understand you get a lot of responses, but I think that if you are going to offer the deals, and you don't think that you are going to be able to schedule a certain number in a certain amount of time, then maybe you need to have a cap on it or offer it again. I think that was a little upsetting to me. We have had some issue with leaking in our house. It took over a month to get someone to come out. As far as when they came out, they came out when they said they would. I guess they did a good job. There was a point when the guy had to leave because there was a hornets' nest and he didn't have an EpiPen pen, and so he had to reschedule to come back out. He did when he said he would, so the service was okay. I don't think I would call that company again, but I can't say they didn't do a decent job; it was just the whole process of it. I didn't know how to undo it, because I had already paid the money. I guess I could've taken the responsibility to call Angie's List to tell them that I needed to get somebody sooner. I think they did a lot of work for the price. He came when he said he was going to come, and he called. I will find out with all of this rain whether it helped.

Excellent service by Marc the technician. Very thorough and knowledgeable in identifying all the problem areas and fixing those as part of this inspection and advising on future work needed.

We had 3 gutters that were plugged. The technician took pictures of all gutters before and after cleaning which shows the areas where the most debris is collecting. He also inspects the roof for problem areas and makes recommendations for repair or replacement as needed. There was no pressure to purchase anything more than the $99 gutter cleaning and tune up! We were completely satisfied with the service provided.
