TIRE MART

I did some research on Angie's List and Yelp before taking it for estimates. These guys were rated well for being a good value and doing decent work. I went to two other shops to get written estimates, then after describing exactly what I needed done over the phone to the Tire Mart service guy, he gave me an estimate, which was the lowest. I dropped the CRV are after hours. The shop is in a low-rent district of downtown Frederick, which probably keeps their overhead costs low and competitive. If this vehicle wasn't 18 years old with 248,000 miles on it, I might have felt a little uneasy leaving overnight, but I figured no one was going to be too tempted. My wife picked up the car the next afternoon - ready when they promised it would be. The workmanship was fine (the SUV passed it's emissions test a couple of weeks ago). They even checked out the rest of the car and recommended additional work (which I declined - with no pushback from Tire Mart).

I like that they are prompt, attentive, and friendly. They are accurate. Their pricing is average. Their responsive and their quality is first class.

Excellent experience. I researched tires on the internet and called the local dealers who stocked the brand I wanted. Tire Mart gave me the best price and promised to have them the next day, which they did. I showed up without an appointment and they took me right away. They let me inspect the tires to make sure they were right. When I couldn't find the date of manufacture, they showed me where it was on the tires (and they were made very recently). I was out of there in 20 minutes. I get free tire rotations as long as I own the tires. When I got home, I discovered one tire was a bit under-inflated, so I added air.
