I've known Three Rivers for quite a long time, and have long been happy with the service they provide. In this instance they were doing routine maintenance on a unit that had not been inspected for over a year in a rental unit of mine. They showed up on time, did NOT confuse my address and phone number with that of the place they were actually going to (as so many other service organizations have done), and were in and out in good time. I got a thorough report, we replaced some aging tubing to avoid troubles in future, and everything has been running just fine since. I will certainly call them again next time maintenance is due.

He came to us on a warranty when we moved into our home. Service has been really great so we have kept calling him. He has also been able to come in emergencies. The second time that he came he found that an installation from a few years back was incorrect so I was able to get a hold of that company who was able to fix the unit for me.

Overall, the installation went very well. The installer showed promptly to provide an estimate as promised. This was an excellent way to start as his company was the 6th company we had stop by to provide an estimate. The other companies that were notable included Sears and Tolbard and two other companies that never provided an estimate as promised. Regardless, Three Rivers provided an estimate on the spot and also provided the brochures for the units he was recommending and why. By getting multiple estimates, we saved nearly $2000 with this company over the Sears Kenmore/Carrier estimate for a unit with less efficiency (13 SEER) and saved over $500 relative to a less efficient unit (also 13 SEER) from Tolbard. While all three of the companies mentioned were courteous and prompt, Three Rivers met our schedule and cost requirements better than the others. On the day of the installation, the installer (the same guy who gave the estimate) showed to install the unit. This happened only three days after our estimate! The installation was uneventful and we received exceptional service. In addition to the services promised, the installer also added an additional start kit to improve performance and a second return vent to improve air flow and enhance efficiency of the unit. These additions were provided at no additional cost. Overall, the owner/operator appeared honest and provided valuable information--he even expressed concern that we didn't want to get too large of a unit up front for our size of home thereby saving money on the unit and subsequent heating and cooling costs. Lastly, because we asked about a humidifier and the great service, he said that he would return later at a time of our choosing if we like and provided a discounted rate to install a humidifier. We plan to take him up on this offer and will have the humidifier installed in the next few months.
