The stylist I see here is very good! I have been going here for maybe a year now. I highly recommend this salon. Their prices are reasonable and you can get an appointment quickly. Their stylist listen to you.

The waiting area is a bit small and busy, but I rarely wait long. Rachel comes to get me, asks if I want my jacket/sweater hung, she hangs it for me, and she escorts me to have my hair washed. She makes sure I'm comfortable in the seat as my head is tilted back into the sink. We chat away as she washes my hair with top quality Redken products that smell absolutely wonderful.
Once my hair is washed and conditioned, she quickly towels it so nothing drips on me as she escorts me to her station. At her station, there's a convenient and safe hook underneath to hang my purse, which I do. Rachel expertly cuts my hair, and then styles and dries my hair.
If there's anything I want changed about the style, she's happy to do so.
When my hair is all done, she escorts me to the check out desk, and we make my next appt. Rachel then sweetly tells me goodbye, and the front desk ladies do the money part.
The front desk ladies are also very nice, accommodating, and quick.

I have a hairdresser at Thomas Scott Salon and Spa in Frederick. I was there 4 weeks ago. The approximate cost of service I think was $77. It was great. I like the overall atmosphere. Everybody was very friendly. They are usually punctual. They always call or email or text you to remind you about your appointments, text to tell you about the specials. I have been using them for years. Yes absolutely.

It was a great exerience overall. I waited almost 20 minutes past my appointment time but I was okay with that. Just want others to know that it may happen.

I like my hairstylist. I don't like the price, it's awful. I give them an A except for the price.

Overall, a good experience. First time at the salon. The technician was/is intelligent and very pleasant. The haircut left my hair more of a challenge to style on my own. I provided the product formula from my previous colorist. The salon uses the same product. The color job was average. I made an appointment at another salon since they offer a hair service I want that Thomas Scott Salon does not offer. If it weren't that, I would return to Thomas Scott.

Promplty greeted, waited a few minutes, taken to room for waxing, which was clean and sparse. Then had hair color and cut, that was the less than optimal part. While I was waiting on the guy to do my hair, a massage therapist brought lotion out and massaged everyone who was waiting's arms. Nice touch.

They are friendly on the phone. The hair stylist and staff are very nice and professional. The price is VERY reasonable. On my very first appointment, they gave me several coupons to use becasue I was a new customer. On my second appointment, I used one of the coupons and I received free samples. Great incentives!!! Very good experience.

I have tried several stylists at this salon and, except for one, they all sucked. Even the one who I had liked exhibited a declining quality in his work, and then left. They are very expensive. Frederick is not New York. The stylist I tried after the previous one left was even more expensive. She was rude and uncommunicative. And the haircut was horrible! As far as my mom is concerned, her hair looked terrible, and the stylists kept on canceling her appointments. If I complained to the owner, she always acted very defensively, as if the problem was my fault. Terrible service at an exorbitant price. Yet they're always packed. Not me - I found a new place that does a great job at nearly half the price.

I really love Thomas Scott Salon and Day Spa. They are expensive but very good. It is more of a spa than a salon. It's a little bit pricy for me but the quality is great.

I LOVE THIS SALON. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND THEY ARE THE ONLY PLACE THAT I TRUST TO COME WITHIN 3 FEET OF MY HAIR WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS. THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND WELL-TRAINED. THEY HAVE A VAST PRODUCT LINE AND OFFER MANY LUXURIOUS SPA PACKAGES.
