We selected Talon for building our screened porch, and they did a stupendous job. This was a project that was very complex, especially with the way our home’s roof comes into the space. I went with Talon over so many other contractors because of the level of trust we had with them, that they care about quality, the full understanding from them that they wouldn’t take the job on if they didn’t feel it would work, and their professional attitude and incredible knowledge. All throughout construction, they showed incredible care while working, and were extremely respectful of our property and daily routine. They went the extra mile so many times to ensure this was well built. They take immense pride in their work. It’s an added bonus that everyone we talked to were extremely kind, they are all good people, and it was such a pleasure to have conversations with everyone who works at Talon. This was a great experience all around.  We looked at Talon and another construction company.  The other company had a hard time "getting it", i.e., what we were looking for, but when we dealt with Talon's designer and partner, they did.
We did get both bids as close as possible in terms of what was being offered.  Talon's pricing was competitive.
The project was contracted for in August 2013, and completed April 2014.  There was some initial delay waiting for utility companies to move the meters -- some of this was facilitated by Talon and some I had to work directly with the utility company.  This was the most frustrating part of the experience, but I think most of the delays were from the utilities themselves.  Washington Gas was particularly hard to work with.
Demo of our portico was finally initiated (start of construction) in November.  The construction crew worked through some tough weather as the winter of 2013-2014 was pretty fierce.  Loss of time due to weather was minimal, though, as unless there was a huge snowfall, they were out there.  The carpenters who were here on a daily basis were competent and friendly.
We couldn't be happier with the final product, and often neighbors come by or stop us on the street to compliment us on it.

Quality basement - great company.

They were professional, punctual and did great quality work.  We had an issue with 1 item about a year later and they came out and fixed the issue quickly and professionally.  We love the basement and the bathroom work and would recommend these people again.  The contract was detailed and professional.  All the work was explained and walked through in detail. They stand behind their work and are excellent and professional to work with

It was excellent! Above all, they are so customer satisfaction oriented. The way they work with you is exactly what you would want.

Bob DeIuliis met with us personally to view the bathrooms and measure and talk design.  He then returned to share his proposed ideas in person.  He was thoroughly professional, polite, and attentive to our requests.  Throughout the entire time, from initial call to completion, he and his employees were only interested in making us happy.  They returned calls promptly.  They had inspectors out quickly to move the process along.  They were knowledgeable and even brought to our attention a problem with our roof during demolition of our master bath.  The allowances we were provided for cabinetry, plumbing fixtures and tile were generous and we were able to get exactly what we wanted, and even upgrade some of our choices.  When the job was finished, the project manager, Ed Rasavage, came out to view the job and make sure we were completely satisfied.  
The job has been completed for over a year and we have not had to call Talon out to fix anything!  We love the job they did.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Talon Construction. They just completed (today) a 740 ft addition onto our 1939 colonial home. The addition is two stories and includes a family room, office/bedroom and powder room on the first floor and a master suite/bathroom on the second floor. My husband and I knew Talon was for us when we went to their website and saw the code of conduct listed. My husband is in law enforcement so security is as important to us as the quality of work.  It also seemed like Talon really takes pride in their company and after working with them we can tell you that it is so true. They cared that every last detail was taken care of and really made the addition feel like it has always been there by paying close attention to detail and truly providing outstanding craftsmanship. My husband and I absolutely LOVE every room and can?t decide which one is our favorite. Not to mention, all of this was completed in 4 months. They were dedicated and hard working from start to end and completed the project before the deadline. The team was 100% professional and extremely pleasant to work with. To mention a few Bob, Ed and Marty you all are the best and true masters of your profession. Thank you, thank you, thank you Talon for building us our dream home!!!!!

very professional job.  I would not hesitate to use them again or

Everyone at Talon from the time of estimate to completion was courteous and professional. They communicated every detail and were always on time and followed through. They cleaned up every day and were careful about being in our home. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and recommend them highly. We'd use them again!

Great quality of work and customer service. After over a year of deliberation and several meetings with Paul Rosner and his designer (for which they were very patient), I finally decided on a plan for a new bathroom and wet bar. Everyone I have worked with has been great-- Ed (project manager), Marty (foreman), and the contractors. They were respectful of our house and our space. The quality of the work is excellent, and any questions or concerns were brought to my attention right away so I could make a decision on how I would like to proceed. I could have gotten the work done cheaper, but I would have paid the price in the long run with inferior quality and customer service. I am a very satisfied customer.

They started in the fall and got done around December. We thought they were great and liked everything about them. They were very professional. They showed up on time and showed up every day. They did what they said they were going to do. They were nice people and we had absolutely no complaints. Any problems that came up, they took care of immediately. We are not sure how they compared to others regarding price, but they provided good, quality work. It was a major renovation.

They were very good and responsive. They were not the cheapest but at the same time, the price to value ratio was very good. We?ve been very happy with the work that they have done. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff at Talon from start to finish. The men had a great deal of pride in their work and everything was finished to perfection. The house was swept clean when we came home each day. We had a deadline when someone was moving in to our home, so they rearranged their schedule all around on short notice to accommodate our needs.
