Most of the floor looks great but the details really ticked me off. I discussed my house's peculiarities with Jerry but he wasn't around when the floors were put in and the workmen didn't know what was agreed upon. The worst thing was some old in-the-floor electrical outlets. Jerry led me to believe it would be no problem putting the outlet boxes that had been in the carpet in the new floor. He had no idea. They hacked holes instead of using a hole drill and left the boxes themselves attached to the sub floor. He fixed the tops on them by adding longer screws and they look okay but they MUST be replaced if I want to sell because they are no longer "sealed" and not up to standard. HAD I KNOWN IT WAS A PROBLEM, I would have had the outlets removed. The new floor interfered with my sliding screen door which they didn't notice until after they finished. They saw a problem and decided not to re-do some molding we had agreed upon but never discussed the change with me first.
Description of Work: About 900 square feet Oak hardwood floors. Finished after installation (not pre-finished). Very happy with my choice to go unfinished.
