 + -1 moreAstonishing. The first work was performed when I had a broken foot. Mr. Alas brought roof shingle samples, paint, tiles, etc. ...he has a excellent eye for color and design. Several other projects presented themselves and nearly all were difficult, including tub/toilet/tile replacement with plumbing improvments in two baths, kitchen fixture replacement on an emergency basis, and general outdoor repair and refurbishment. Performed over 1.5 years. He has not failed me yet. Drove from Frederick in a driving rainstorm to confirm roof leaking; did effective temporary plug, found other multiple issues, fixed them all. I love this man...made him and his entire family a chicken dinner as a tiny token of thanks.
Description of Work: Repair and replace entire roof; address long-standing roof drainage issue (first time in 20 years it is not an issue); pull out and replace a 1958 tub TWICE (that is a hellish story of a company refusing to deal with a defective tub) including full-wall tile installation; multiple bath and kitchen plumbing replacement issues, all difficult due to space and configuration; general exterior repair and painting.
