Shipman Painting was very responsive throughout the entire process, and provided a top notch service in the end. Upon receiving my call for a quote, they were able to survey our home within the week, and then broke the quote down into a few projects so we could stagger the work as I had requested. During the process, if any change in schedule was needed, they made sure to let me know, but this was minimal. They arrived promptly each day (by 7:30am), were professional and friendly, and at the end of each project did a fabulous job cleaning up. We felt very comfortable with this contractor, and had no problem leaving them at our house while we went to work after getting to know them. Shipman Painting made sure to prep the walls/ceilings/trim so that the end result looked great. They were also able to perform a couple larger drywall patches along with the painting service. Master bath work was completed in 3 days ($850), and basement was completed in 4.5 days ($1950). They came in with clean drop cloths and plastic and left no mess behind. The owner managed the projects, and was even on site to perform the work when possible, and also provided contact information for other contractors after hearing that we were looking for a roofer. The quote/contract was straightforward and affordable...asking for a deposit on the first day and full payment within 10 days after the work is complete. Contractor used Benjamin Moore paint.
