Excellent. I was living in Mexico at the time and hired them based on good reviews on Good reviews on our neighborhood app. They did a great job, and both my tenant and the neighbors dang their praises. I actually hired them 2 years later for another property. Again long distance and a great job.

Roof repair and tune up contract was signed on March 6 after a wind storm loosened some shingles. At the time there was no leak or water damage because the issue was caught in time. Paid $400 on March 19 for the work to be completed. On July 27 during a rain storm a leak was noticed as there was some staining on the drywall directly above the area where the roof repair took place. On August 4th an email was sent to SemperWest regarding the leak and repair work (I was out of the country), at this point I was just looking for a response and someone to look at the work and I wanted to give the company the chance to take care of any issues before calling someone else. No response was received and on August 19 (yes almost three full weeks) another roofer was called and repaired the previous repair because delaying the repair due to non-response was not practical. The other roofer took measurements from the site of the stain in the ceiling and went on the roof to locate the source of the leak. The measurements matched up with the repaired shingles so the roofing company began to assess the prior work and discovered that the shingles were attached with matching seams which had meant that water was able to go down through the matched seams two sheets of shingles where it met the nails and eventually slowly made its way into the attic.

Everything was fine through roof and gutter installation but when gutters leaked it took months for them to contact me and fix the problem, and then when roof flashing / siding leak occurred recently they did come within a week to look at it but never followed up with an estimate. I ended up using another company that estimated work on the spot and fixed it within 3 days.

Although the initial estimate came in 2 days later than promised, which made me to cancel another contract in the alloted time, the rest of the project went very well, considering their price was better than all other 5 estimates I got.

they arrived on time and handled all aspects efficiently and most professionally. The crew was highly skilled; solved unexpected problems readily and cleaned up after each day's work. They wasted little time; continuously asked if we had questions or if the work quality was as expected. Supervisors were professional but for the most part unnecessary - this was a first-rate operation with a fair price; no surprises in pricing at the end. No down-payment requested and invoice submitted after all work completed and questions answered.

The exterior door of the Kitchen/Dinet area and the Gable (located high on the side of the house), were each repaired well and in a timely fashion. More importantly, the workmanship was of a high quality and aesthetically pleasing. Semper West has performed siding, gutter, and roofing repair work for me previously with the same consistent results. In recent years, they have also successfully serviced each of my two adult children's homes for minor exterior repairs. Brian Carpenter is the Operations Manager/ Estimator of the organization. He is a fair person and it is a pleasure to interact with him. When I move forward to get my roof of my home replaced, Semper West will be the first company I reach out to for an assessment and an estimate for the job.

My wife and I had been getting quotes for our roof to be replaced. Our neighborhood is reaching that age were you see a lot of houses being re-roofed. We had a leak staining our wall/ceiling and I figured instead of patching again its time for replacement. I had got a few quotes ranging from $7,500-13,400. Then about two weeks ago my next door neighbors were getting a roof done by Semper West. We told the on site project manager Jessie that we were taking quotes for our roof. He came by the next day, spent a good hour up on the roof making a detailed drawing of the roof w/measurement and gave us a great quote. He was very nice guy, likeable, no hard sell tactics, no price high and haggle crap, just a fair price for a fair job. He quoted us for several combinations of shingles. We chose the architectural shingles that most people seem to be going with plus I liked the higher wind rating/warranty. Jessie was such a departure from the other sales people we had dealt with I wanted to give them the business, add to it the best price and it was a no brainer. They showed up at 6:15 the morning of the job, completely surrounded the house in tarps to protect my plants etc. Just as they did with the my neighbors the cleanup was perfect, couldn't even tell they had been there. Jessie was on site all day as the supervisor as we had requested and as he had promised. They were done and gone by 2:30. We were so pleased I asked Jessie if he could travel to southern Maryland and give my parents a quote. They ended up signing a contract with Semper West as well. She actually scheduled 2 weeks out because Jessie was going to be away and they wanted to wait for him as project manager. We were able to get ours done just days after the contract. Shingles delivered the day before and placed on roof with a crane. Top notch all the way with a great price.

They did a good job.  We had a leak and weak spots. They knocked it out fast and cleaned up well afterwards.  They got it done in 4-5 hours. Everything did go pretty smoothly.  Follow up was just ok.

All went very well. One day job on a small rancher.

Roof done in one day.  Excellent service.  Cleaned up quite well after job was done.  Kept me informed as to progress of roof repairs during entire day.  Very responsive to all needs.  I will hire them to install new windows this fall.

From the start, getting an estimate was easy and Brian was very professional. He provided excellent detail on what they could do and the costs involved. After we selected them to do the job, Brian oversaw the project and the crew did an outstanding job and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. When we had an issue a month later, Brian came back and made it right.

From the initial consultation to the finished work, this company was excellent.  What impressed me during the consultation was the detail provided on what differentiated them from other companies.  They provided a reasonable price, and everything went smoothly during our new roof installation, gutters and windows.  My husband and I work at home, and they were very respectful of our time during the installation.  Everything was done on time, and clean up was excellent. They are also a local company, which for me was a big plus.  I plan to have more work done in the future.

Contacted the company and within days someone came and gave me estimates for the jobs.  After I agreed to the price and the timing of the work,  workers showed up exactly when they said they would and went right to work.  The work was completed  when they said it would be finished.  The foreman for the job kept checking in every few hours to see how things were going.  The man in charge under the foreman was very capable and diligent.  When the job was finished, everything was left in tip top order.

Replaced roof.  Very professional and detail oriented.  Happily answered all of my questions about different roofing material and various options.  Did a great job cleaning up afterwards.  Would use again.

Came out and quoted changing the gutters on the house.  The pricing was so competitive that we were able to get the leaf guards and the oversided gutters for about the same price as the standard gutters from the other guys.  Very professional to work with throughout the entire process.  The work was completed on the day scheduled and in the time promised.  We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the clean up afterwards.

They did an excellent job in a day and even fixed a roofline fault that existed because of an addition to the main house.  We really appreciated the extra communication and professionalism they displayed!   They were honest with us that it might take over a day to do the roof, however ?. they were able to finish in the same day and had to replace a few more plywood decking panels. Still got it done.
Everything was cleaned up and when they left we had a beautiful new roof.   The roof looks great and we would definitely recommend Semper West!

They arrived on time and got to work right away. Lance, the supervisor, kept us informed step by step to let us know what was going on. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done and left are lawn looking even better than before they came. The price was a good deal lower than another estimate for the exact same work with exact same materials. Brian Carpenter came out weeks before to sit with us and explain what exactly would be done, he left a detailed proposal with us, support materials, and was easy to reach when we had questions. A compliment for Lance: the next day we noticed that one of our screens had been damaged during the roof installation, I notified Lance about this and he arranged to have a repair done by the next business day at no cost to us. All and all a positive experience and if we have future roofing needs we would definitely consider them.

Semper West Builders Inc was super fast. They had that roof up  in a day. The owner of the company was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of education. He knew his product and when things didn't quite go right, they made it seamless and took care of it.

  The reason we went with Semper West is that they were professional, easy to work with, responsive and had good reviews from both the BBB and Angie's List. If anything, they underpromised and overdelivered. I would recommend them to anyone.
Kevin our representative from Semper was extremely helpful through the process. To start with, he provided a quote that was detailed and professional. He provided the quote in a very nice company folder and more importantly provided information including: addresses from past jobs and what material/colors were used, roofing terminology sheet, copy of their state licenses.  In addition, Semper recommended that we used a high quality product.  We did a lot of independent research on shingles ourselves and their opinion meshed with what we learned.
Secondly, Kevin was extremely responsive as we were working through the insurance claim process and finalizing the contract. Most times, I got him on the phone immediately and when I didn't I got a call a short time back. Kevin worked with the insurance adjuster so our only out of pocket costs were our deductible.  The insurance company had originally underquoted the amount of material etc that it would take to finish the job.Every commitment Kevin made, he followed through on.
Third, Semper's work commenced exactly when they said it would when we signed the contract. We have a large roof and it took them 2.5 days to complete as expected. The team that came to our house was extremely professional and polite. They did a great job for us. My husband is an engineer by trade and he was extremely happy with the work they did and that is hard to get him to say it.
I can't say enough good things about them.  I wish them lots of success and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Brian came out to provide an estimate on replacing the roof on my townhouse, and was punctual.  He took his time, did not rush, and provided me with a professional written proposal on the spot, along with his company's credentials.  The work was performed as promised, and there was a project manager there the whole time supervising the work. Cleanup was great, and the work was finished on time.
Brian is a guy you can trust, and he will get the job done correctly.
