Description of Work: Our existing vacuum bit the dust after 20 years, After contacting and pricing a few providers RJ Central Vac provided us the best time window and price. We were given several options and suggestions, prior to even scheduling our install or any commitment we were walked through troubleshooting our unit, given some possible solutions around repair versus replace.

 + -1 moreI hired Mr. Johnson to clear a blockage in my central vacuum system. He was very professional, arrived on time, and did a thorough job checking each of the system's components and ducts. He even came out on a Sunday morning for us and charged less than what he had quoted me over teh phone. Even his original estimate was half the price of other service shops I had called. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreMr. Johnson was courteous and understanding of my situation. Within about 1 hour, I was up and running and able to clean my floors in plenty of time. As I understand Mr. Johnson also installs new systems, I will certainly be willing to share his name with another friend who is planning a new house, and recommend his services to everyone owning any brand of central vacuum systems.
Description of Work: My system had a blockage and shut off. As I was having a dinner party that evening, I was in desparate need of service. On the advice of a friend, I called RJ Central Vacuum Systems and explained my problem. Mr. Johnson responded to my call within 20 minutes and agreed to arrive 1 hour later. As promised, he arrived at my home in 55 minutes and immediately diagnosed the problem. He unblocked the system and also replaced the motor filter, serviced my power brush, and included new belts. Since I have a common Nutone system, Mr. Johnson explained that parts are not expensive, and courteously provided parts at no charge.
