These people are very difficult to deal with.  The rental contract is 21 pages long full of expectations and obligations of PMP and renter.  They have an extraordinarily long list of expectations for the renter to keep the place in pristine condition.  That part, I don't have a problem with, but when it comes to getting their help with maintenance issues, their response is often lackluster.  The worst example is when I had an issue with the fridgerator.  I notified them of the issue and they asked for the model number of the fridge so that they could look into getting a replacement part.  So, I emailed them the model number.  They told me that I must have the wrong model number; so I took a picture of the model number to prove to them that I had it right.  It was finally 6 months later before they finally resolved the issue and ordered the replacement part.
Now I'm going through the move-out process and it is incredibly painful.  They expect perfection on my part as the renter, but they seem to do as little as possible for their responsibilities.  i.e. they are wanting the carpets professionally cleaned prior to move-out; but there is no way that they did that before I moved in....
