My wife and I wanted to find THE contractor -- a contractor who does great work, who is reasonably priced, and can deliver on time and on budget. Ultimately, we wanted to find a ?lifetime? contractor -- someone who will be with us for many, many projects in the future. We interviewed several contractors before deciding on Mark Pelletier. Mark?s project estimate was not the highest or the lowest, but he stood-out miles ahead of his competition. On our first meeting at our home, Mark was on time, friendly, and professional. During our meeting, he listened to our wants and needs and provided suggestions and guidance. My wife and I immediately felt at ease working with him. During the course of the project, minor speed-bumps occurred, as they normally do. Mark was able to provide recommendations and guidance on the best course of action. On two occasions we disagreed with his recommendation, but decided to follow his suggestion. He was correct on both counts. Actually, we would have regretted the decisions if we did not follow his advice. We could not speak more highly of Mark and his top notch crew. Not only are his employees prompt, friendly, good with kids and pets, they are top-notch PRO?s in their respective fields. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the finished product. The new island is functional, has great storage, looks beautiful, and works well with our kitchen layout. Positives & accolades: - Mark worked and stayed within our budget. - He has a real designer eye. He designed a great island to complement ou existing kitchen layout. - There were two occasions that we disagreed?placement of the new island and how to patch our hardwood floors. My wife and I decided to go with Mark?s vision, and he was correct on both counts! - Mark and his crew are efficient with their work and follow through with requests very promptly. Area for growth: - Communication of work schedules. There were a few occasions that we had to reach out and contact Mark regarding schedules, who is coming to work on what days, etc. We have young children and pets and it would have been nice to have 24 hours of notice so we could prepare our home, have things moved and ready, and have moved our dogs to the basement.

The work being performed was quite extensive and encompassed not only the kitchen but also the family room. laundry room and a little work in the half bath. They started the demolition of the kitchen approximately the first week of October. They removed all the cabinets, the soffets above the cabinets, the kitchen wallpaper and quite a bit of drywall in order to run electrical wiring for the new lights and all the flooring in all four rooms. This was done in approximately a week or a little less. During this time the electrician came out to run the new wires and also the plumber to prepare for the new kitchen. After the demo, the drywall was replaced and also new drywall on the ceiling to cover the textured ceiling as well as skimming of the drywall to correct any imperfections the removal of the wallpaper had caused. Once that was done the painting was started. We were going on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks and left on October 15th. At that time most of the painting was done and the flooring had started to be installed. During the time we were gone they continued to work on the remodel and when we returned on November 1st almost all the work was completed, including the outside replacement of rotting wood. There were just a few items that needed to be fine tuned and they were done in the next two days. They did need to return in two weeks because there were two cabinet items that had been ordered incorrectly that needed to be installed, which took only a half a day. The crew was very pleasant and helpful and I trusted them in my house when I was gone. They did their best to try and keep the dust from the demolition and drywall work out of the rest of the house, but dust will be dust. This was the first time using this contractor but I will use this contractor in the future as I was very satisfied with the work they performed. My only complaint would be a bit of the edging on the paint job wasn't perfect but this is a small complaint given the extensive work that was performed. This company does have a warrenty and I am cofident they will stand behind it.

My wife and I could not be happier with the services provided by MV Pelletier. Mark and the team are true professionals and delivered outstanding quality workmanship. The work was completed on time, on budget and surpassed our highest expectations. After buying our first home, we decided to completely renovate our kitchen and three bathrooms. We met with several contractors, but ultimately decided on MV Pelletier. Mark has a great reputation in the area, was extremely professional during our meetings, and was willing to work with us to keep the costs within our budget. Mark was also extremely helpful in taking our often vague visions and suggesting ideas to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Once the work started, and throughout the entire process, the team took great care to respect our home and to keep us informed of the current progress. They kept the work areas neat/tidy and protected non-work areas from dust/debris. When a question would arise about how we wanted something done, they quickly contacted us. Often, we were unsure of how we wanted something and they were happy to work with us explaining the different options in terms we could understand. The daunting task of selecting things like bathroom fixtures and appliances, with hundreds of different options available, was actually kind of fun with Mark as our guide. When we ventured down the renovation path, we were expecting some amount of anxiety and stress. However, thanks to Mark and the team, we can honestly say that the entire process was very seamless from our perspective and we never felt overwhelmed. Overall, we are extremely happy with the way things turned out and will definitely be using MV Pelletier for future projects.

Mark first scheduled a site review for replacement of a major brand window which had failed. MVP went on to contact the field rep for the manufacturer, determine the style and original size and placed an order for the replacement. Upon delivery of the materials, MVP scheduled the replacement, trim out and painting. All work performed by the MVP crew was done in a professional manner, all work in the contract was achieved and MVP accepted additional work during the course of the scheduled work.
