We are locally owned and operated since 2010 and dedicated to controlling mosquitoes, ticks, stink bugs, and other bugs in Frederick, Hagerstown and surrounding areas. Many of our mosquito customers have thanked us for giving them their yards back and they have found our treatments also cut down on the spiders, ants, wasps, and stink bugs in and around their home.

Overpriced me. Hard sell. Unprofessional.

Very professional and answered all my questions. I selected the all summer extermination. We have only had 1 application and even with all the rain you can definitely tell the difference. My kids have not had a single bite and even the gnats are mostly gone (98% at least). Next week will be 3 weeks since the application and when the next one is done. I wish I would have done this in previous years. I will absolutely get it done next year as well.

They were good. I had them for 3 years. They just spray and they leave a notification on the door of what time they came because I've got animal. You don't feel like they're busy. They're gonna come back out again today I think because we got more bugs around due to heavy rains.

We were moving into a new home with a very wooded lot. We knew there were lots of stink bugs in the area, and also wanted to have the yard treated for ticks and fleas, as we have a dog.
The closing of the house was postponed a couple of times, and each time Joelle and Larry were so patient and understanding, each time working to schedule our home in at the last minute. Joelle even joked about Larry knowing all the neighborhoods in Frederick with the worst cases of stinkbugs. Told them ours had to be one of them.
We weren't home when the house was treated, however they told us they were coming at a specific time, and a sign was in the yard when we got home, so I knew they came.
We've noticed a significant reduction in the number of stink bugs in and around the home (We have a screened in porch and a couple of other deck/porch areas.)
I would absolutely call them again.

During their initial visit, the Mosquito Squad from Frederick took their time and explained their formulation, the treatment and how their program works. They spent a considerable amount of time thoroughly treating the yard area (which is large and contains numerous shrubbery/landscaping), the roof line, under the eaves, the porch, the foundation and even inside the garage! Within 30 minutes after they completed the treatment it was safe for our dogs to go into the yard.Immediately there was a noticeable difference in the stink bugs (both in the house and outside), the mosquitoes and the gnats. They really are careful about the pollinators though because the honeybees did not appear to be affected as well as the dragon fly population surrounding our pond. We signed up for the yearly program saving approximately $10/treatment. Prior to spraying, we receive an email notification asking if there are any issues with the scheduled time and date. We have had to request earlier treatment on 2 occasions (expecting guests, hosting parties) and the Mosquito Squad immediately were able to respond!The difference in outdoor quality between last year without treatment and this year with treatment is amazing! I no longer have to spray myself to sit in my back yard and I have not found a single tick (or flea) on my dogs!Great customer service, professionalism and exceptional results - I recommend the Frederick Mosquito Squad!!!

This is our second summer using them! I usually can't go outside, because I get eaten up by mosquitoes. Now I can go out and enjoy being outside. The total fee is for the entire summer. They did an additional spray for gnats at the beginning of the summer. They email us before showing up, so we know when they'll be there. They do their best to answer our questions and solve any problems we may be having. They're very good at what they do!

It has turned out well. They got rid of the bugs and that was the main goal, so it worked. They are also nice and polite.

Their service is wonderful. They are very thorough and polite. They will also let us know a couple days before they come and also write a note for us afterwards letting us know what they did. They do a good job.

The first time the guy was here, he was really nice. They send an e-mail before they come but they do not send the time, so they started spraying with all of the windows open and without me knowing. It was not good. They also sprayed once when it had rained. They said they would check the weather forecast prior to coming out to make sure the pesticide would stick, but they didn't. I felt that after speaking with the owners, they were very nice but there were a lot of communication problems with the staff.

"I have hardly spoken with the person who posted this review. Her boyfriend hired us to treat the property and I described the services to him, incuding addressing any concerns that were brought to my attention. We have treated the property three times. According to the boyfriend, the incidents she described occurred on the third treatment. On the prior two treatments, the technician treated the property after knocking on the door. The technician no longer works for us, but the area being treated is over one acre and her boyfriend assured me that they closed the windows before he got close to the house. We train our technicians to knock on the customer's door before treating. The reviewer called after the third treatment and said in a message that it rained 30 minutes after the technician left. I tried to call her back and left a message that in my experience rain thirty minutes after a treatment would still be effective. Several days later her boyfriend called with the same concern. I told him that the treatment was effective because treatments dry within 30 minutes and then are effective. He said he understood that was possible because he buys permethrin treated clothing and he knows that it remains effective after multiple washings, but he still did not feel comfortable. I then agreed to come out and retreat the property again at no charge. He thanked me for doing so and said he was telling everybody he knew that they should use our service to prevent Lyme disease. I discussed this review with him and he again said he intended to refer a relative to us. Her boyfriend said he wanted three more treatments and seemed surprised at what appeared to be reported in this review. I strive to make all of my customers happy and to ensure their complete satisfaction. We hope to impriove the reviewer's opinion of us with future treatments."
