I started doing my research on Angies List to see how mortgage companies stacked up. Far and above, Eagle Creek stood out as one of the best. After reading through the reviews and hearing such glowing reviews about Alex, i decided to move ahead and give him a call. The one thing I liked about Alex from the get-go was that was very direct. I had told him everything that I was interested in doing and then he went to work putting together the options that would be available. My existing lender was not willing to do a re-finance with a cash out so that prompted my search around. Within a few minutes, Alex had presented me with some interesting options and which one would be most likely the best for me. After that point, I mentioned that I was an Angies List member and that there was a deal listed that the appraisal cost would be covered. He stated that definitely is a deal for Angies LIst members and that i would be reimbursed for that amount after the closing. This was a very pain free process for me. If you have access to email, a copy/fax/scanner and you have all your documents in order the process was so smooth. Alex would email me what he needed, i would sign forms and copy necessary documents and send them back. After a few rounds of this, we were simply on our way to closing. And the people from Clear2Close were awesome as well. They came to my house when I had free time to take care of it. All in all, a very easy and smooth experience with Alex. Oh and the reimbursement ... i called him about after closing and I received a check in the mail a couple of days later.

Alex reviewed my previous mortgage situation and provided me with well thought out options. This was a little complex in certain areas but Alex came up with a creative solution that met my needs and provided me with very competitive mortgage rates. As many of you will know, mortgage re-financing is not quite as simple as it may first appear. There is a huge amount of information to provide and a myriad of forms to complete. Alex was terrific in making this process as easy and understandable as it could be. He was very responsive to queries and organized the whole process very professionally and efficiently, right down to the home appointment to close the transaction. I would use Alex again and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Ultimately it went well. The process was very easy. He laid out the options of different kinds of potential mortgages to switch to for refinancing. He ran some initial numbers based on circumstances in the household and he came up with the best for my situation.

I worked with Alex to get a home loan. He patiently managed all the details with Franklin American. I had my date to close, but things were not working out at my end. I had to pull out --much to my regret. Alex was very gracious in spite of all the hard work he had put into my loan. He was even willing to work with me again when the timing is right.

My wife and I contacted Eagle Creek Mortgage to help us refinance our mortgage. Alex was very clear and thorough in reviewing the information related to our existing mortgage and presenting options for our refinance. Because rates are much lower than when we bought our house, he found us an option that both lowered our monthly payment and reduced our mortgage term from the roughly 22 years remaining on our existing loan to a 15 year mortgage. As we went through the application process, Alex was prompt and professional in gathering our information for the lender and getting our responses to any supplementary questions the underwriters asked. The process went very smoothly all the way through closing. I would recommend Eagle Creek Mortgage to others, and I would call them again the next time I needed a mortgage. (I set the "how much I spent" field in the review as $0 because the broker fees were paid by the lender, not by me.)

Experience was great. We had been working with a different Mortgage Company but I contacted Alex based on an Angie's List Review to confirm the rate the mortgage company was charging me. I discovered it was much higher than what Alex was able to give me, so we switched. From there forward, Alex worked diligently to move our mortgage through the process and we had a successful closing. He was constantly in contact and was always checking to make sure things on my side were going well. Couldn't have a better experience.

Throughout the process they were really good and professional but were not able to provide the most competitive rate so we went with another financial institution.

I wanted to refinance our home to take advantage of low interest rates. Based on reviews on Angies List I chose Eagle Creek Mortgage. I called on January 18th for a quote and spoke with Alex Echeandia. He gave a very competitive quote. He was very clear about explaining all of the costs involved. We went ahead with the application. Alex was always very responsive. The application went through quickly, without any problems, and we just closed yesterday, February 28th. I highly recommend Alex and Eagle Mortgage. Alex was always very clear about everything that we needed to provide. He kept us updated throughout the process. There were never any delays, and we were able to close in less than 6 weeks from when I first contacted him.

So far they seem to be fine. They are a mortgage broker so there wasn't, all the interaction was done over e-mail or phone.

Let me start by saying that I will recommend Eagle Creek Mortgage. I rate their service 5/5 and I will tell you why. After putting an offer on my dream condo the seller accepted my offer a day later. I first turned to a big bank and they made me believe that my loan request will be accepted with the best interest rate of the country. A month later I was denied. I then turned to a local bank which in turn didn't set false expectation but denied my loan request after a couple weeks. My realtor then recommended Eagle Creek Mortgage and I've met with Alex Echeandia (a very professional, courteous and effective individual) who took the time to explain the loan application process with the right expectations. Also Alex gave me all the options I had and what to take in consideration.From the beginning I knew what to expect and how long the process may take and it was amazing how quick and clear the whole process went and most importantly my loan got approved with a competitive rate. Eagle Creek Mortgage helps me achieve what I though wasn't possible after the second bank denied my mortgage loan request. I will end my remarks with what I started with: I will recommend Eagle Creek Mortgage and Alex Echeandia. He is definitely a winner.
