It all came together beautifully. The quality of the top soil, mulch and plants were excellent. The retaining wall really enhanced the curb appeal of our front yard. We plan on using them nest year when we address the gardens in our back yard around our deck.

We have had Dave and Steve landscape our yard over the last 5 years or so. I appreciate the fact that they are willing to do the work in stages so we can afford to do it like we want. During that time (I can't remember the exact order) they have designed and replaced all of the foundation plants in the front of my house. This included designing and building a small retaining wall (I think they call it a dry stacked rock wall), digging up old plants and planting new ones, both bushes and perennials, as well as mulching. In another stage, Dave and Steve installed a paver patio (about 10' x 10") and pathway (about 75') with perennials, bushes and trees up to and round it. Another stage was building a deck. The following year (when we had more ideas) they added to the deck and added a pergola. They also finished by landscaping around the deck. An additional stage was landscaping the length of our driveway (about 115').
I can not give enough praise to both Dave and Steve. Their design ideas are wonderful, they arrive on time, they work hard, they clean up, the job is completed on time (weather permitting), and the prices are reasonable. I admire that they continue to work when it is too hot for me to even watch. I appreciate that they listen to what I want, and accomodate my changes into the plan. I also like that they will work in stages that I can afford, and will incorporate plants that I want ot keep into their design.
It is a shame that I was not a member of Angies' List until recently so I couldn't do a review each time they have done some work. It would be much better if I could give them 5 As rather than just the one that I can give.

It went well. They were brought in by landscape designer Anne Irving who had used their services on other jobs. They brought in the scheduled plants and installed them without a problem (although weather slowed the project). They worked efficiently and in good humor. At no time did I have the impression they were rushing to get the job done and away. The took time to do it well. In the spring it became evident that the one tree did not survive the tough winter. When he was contacted Dave Failor said they would replace the tree at no cost. I decided to pay an additional amount to get a taller specimen. It took a few months before it was installed because he wanted to time it to his work on another project in our area. (They are an hour or more away.) The replacement appears to be in fine condition and caps off the project.

This is phase 2 of my 2008 landscaping project. Hardscaping in Spring 2008 and planting in Fall 2008. My new front yard looks great. However, the plants are small (as they should be) and most not blooming now. Next Spring and Summer are what I'm waiting for, when everything will be in bloom and the shrubs and tree will have gotten a great start by overwintering. We put in a number of pretty flowering shrubs, ornamental grass, and perennials (eg salvia, catmint). Additionally, they installed about 9 flagstones in the garden area to help me to get to the water faucet and plantings. The new plants have a guarantee of one year. Everything went smoothly and was well done. Greeneryscape even transplanted some marigolds to container pots on the deck. It looks great. I can't express how pleased I am and my excitement for enjoying my garden in 2009. I've received a number of complements from neighbors. Every time I walk up my front, now I smile.

Greeneryscape removed and disposed of my old cracked concrete walkway. They installed 100 sq ft of new flagstone on a base of stone dust. No grout. The new walkway has a nice, clean natural look. They also installed flagstone veneer on the front stoop. Additionally, they installed Pennsylvania Mountain stone to create an edging wall about 4-6" high around the front of the yard. I share my front yard with two neighbors and wanted to distinguish my space from theirs. This is the first step in completely re-landscaping my front yard. First the hardscaping. This was done in March 2008. The work went very well, prompt and always cleaned up. Dave Failor and his brother did all the work. They are excellent at what they do. When they finished there were a few details I wanted them to attend to. No problem. The front looks great. Huge improvement in curb appeal.
