The Doctor and Technician were very kind and gentle with my 13 year old dog. We have gone to this office for over 10 years.

Exam and vaccines went great. Staff is professional and exam was thorough. Questions were answered as well as information provided. We changed to this vet in March and are very pleased with this choice. We have three dogs and one puppy.

We take our pets there all the time, ever since we've lived here. They care about the animals. The staff is great. You just make a phone call and they get you in depending on the severity of the problem.

Visit went well. Vet tech was very nice, got sample from ears to test, handled the dog well. Dr. D was informative. Dose of steroids for paw, antibiotic for the ear with a yeast infection. Drops for other ear as a precaution. Dog taken care of.

It went fine. The only issue I had was I waited a while for my notes from my vet so I could not pay and leave for a good 25 minutes while it was all being taken care of in the computer. I also took out the reward plan last year and it saved me so much because I was able to get her nails clipped, it took care of her office visit charge and I even had a credit that I could use. I am on a very tight budget and it helped so much. The care was impeccable. One of the techs came out into the lobby and gave the dogs treats while we waited. There were 4 large dogs and one small one in the lobby at one time so the dogs were quite interested in each other. I live in Westminster and drive 25 miles to go to Glade Valley and I would not go anywhere else. When my black lab was dying, I called the office and it was a Saturday afternoon 20 mins from closing time. Dr. Head stayed and waited for me, he and his staff worked on my dog for an hour, kept him over the weekend and helped me with my decision the following week that was devastating to make. I called a vet closer to my home (within 5 mins) and they responded that they didn't have any appointments open that day and to come back Monday. I told them that I didn't think my dog would make it all weekend and they said, I am sorry. Dr. Head has always gone above and beyond and the staff is amazing too. I would trust my pets to anyone else. Thank you very much for the care and professionalism that you combine every day with every case.

The Vet came in after the blood work and played with kitty.  He did the exam and started shots and med for ear mites.  Dr. Steve was very professional and I was impressed with taking time to answer all my questions as they arose. Kitti 7 is heling me type this response!! I will be glad to continue with this vet and staff.  Comfortable atmosphere.Great job to all.

This was our first visit to Glade Valley. Dr. Landis was recommended to us by my neighbor and we are so happy with the services, professionalism, friendliness, and authentic care and interest shown by Dr. Landis, her tech, Liz, and the front desk staff. We moved to Frederick three years ago and at that time we did not have a pet. Upon adding a four year old Yorkie to our family, we inquired from friends and neighbors about veterinary services in our area. Glade Valley was recommended most often.

We could not be more pleased with Glade Valley and Dr. Landis. As a retired couple, we chose a small pet that could be indoors with us and be more a part of our family than the larger outdoor dogs we had when our children were little. Lily is the perfect pet and we now have the perfect veterinarian and veterinary clinic.

Anytime we take our pets to Glade Valley the doctors and staff are caring and professional.  They take their time and explain what's wrong, how they are going to treat the illness and what to expect.

Beautifully. Being an older cat they made sure to take all necessary precautions. She was herself the next day and required no further pain meds. I have been coming here for almost 30 years. My pets have all lived long and happy lives thanks to Glade Valley. They have been instrumental to their well being. They have been like family to us ! A donation was made to an animal charity when one of my cats passed. They sent a sympathy card when a member of my immediate family died. A wonderful, thoughtful group of people from the vets on down.

I have been with this practice for 3 dogs, and one cat.  They are a very well established practice and one of the older trusted practices in our area.  Both Doctors are wonderfully caring and knowledgeable and always current.

The Doctor was extremely thorough, as usual, and took his time in explaining the issues with us.  We were told what they were, why they may have occurred and explained our options in detail  We left feeling educated about the problems and treatments.

Love the staff and doctors at Glade Valley for taking good care of us as always!

The check up went very well in spite of several unscheduled pet emergencies that came in before y appt, we got in to see the vet in a reasonable amount of time. She spent time with my pet and didn't rush.  I am very pleased with all the services I have received at Glade Valley Animal Hospital.

The visit went quite well. Pleasant doctor who is good with dogs. Always asks how dog is doing advises you about weight of dog. Recommends blood work if a problem.

After the procedure Dr. Derranbacher thoroughly reexamined my dog and asked if I had any further questions. With any procedures performed in their office they explain and advise you on what should be done.  The vets are very friendly and informative as well as their staff.  I have been with these doctors for 30 years.  If that doesn't say their great what does.

Office visit went very well, the Vet was very gentle, caring and compassionate. She gave me several helpful suggestions. My cat is a geriatric patient with a chronic condition and the vet has been very helpful. She treated her UTI and will follow up with a follow up apt and test. I highly recommend this Vet.

The most thorough, thoughful, and unhurried exam my cat has had in past five years. Her preexisting condition was explored carefully, with ideas as to what could be the cause, that no other vet had ever mentioned. Options for treatment were discussed and implemented. My cat loved everyone there and was very calm throughout. We are new to the area and very glad to have found Glade Valley Animal Hospital. 
Please note: the $400 cost included blood work, flea and tick medication, and prescription food. The price of the exam itself, the rabies shot, and the stool exam all seemed to be in line with customary exam charges.

Our visit went very well. My dog is very anxious about being around other pets he does not know. The hospital is very good at arranging his appointment times to either being the first or last appointment of the day. The staff greeted my dog by name and he got lots of petting and attention and a few treats.  My dog was treated very well and likes the entire staff.  Treatment options were discussed and they were very up front about the cost. I was taught how to give my dog injections and all my questions were answered in language I could understand. I left confident I was doing the right thing for my dog, knew I could call if I had questions later, and was confidant they would call with any abnormalities when lab results were received. They did call me on the 14th to go over the lab results and what needs to be done to either correct or treat the problems indicated by the lab work.

I've used this hospital since 2001 and they have been in charge of all 5 of our dogs health and at times of my son's dog (live out of state).
My son had even brought his dog to this vet to be seen,diagnosed and ultimately euthanized , because he really trusts this team.  I can't imagine better service, compassion, and care anywhere else!
 

Great!  Very friendly and a thorough exam.

They are our regular veterinarian for fourteen years.  I like their expertise.  He caught couple of things along that we think other veterinarians may have missed.  He is excellent at what he did.  One of the reasons why we think we had a dog that lived for fourteen years was the care he recommended and provided.

I've been bringing my cats to this place since 1986. These Docs are very knowledgeable and the techs are very good also. I've been in the room with them every time and they always treat your pet/friend as you would. I've even had to have them put one of my cats to death and although it was very difficult I would do it again with these people as they were very accommodating and understanding of all my tears.
As for this time they looked at everything and ended up easing my mind. I may be a bit paranoid about my pets but they don't judge and take care of them anyway.
The price was fine with me, think about how much it costs for a human to get examined by an MD and get a blood test. They are a great Vet service at a reasonable price especially if you have no pet insurance, which I will get soon and so should you.
