They were very accommodating as far as my time goes, everything went well as requested, and it was well done.

Crew were excellent! They did a great job, left the site clean (apart from the piles of dirt that I knew they'd have to leave behind), and the fence looks absolutely gorgeous. I will be using the company again for a picket fence sometime this summer and can't recommend them highly enough!

Installers were very professional. Arrived as expected. Cleaned up after themselves as they worked, not leaving a mess until the end of the job.

Frederick Fence not only was able to perform the panel replacement weeks ahead of schedule, they were in and out so fast that I didn't even notice they were finished! I had mentioned to the gentleman when he arrived about a bunny that was digging under my fence and eating my flowers, so he even buried a board under the fence panel he just installed to help prevent it from happening anymore. I can't believe he remembered that we had that conversation and was proactive in helping me out. When I called to set up my initial appointment they were able to come out within 48 hours and provided me a written estimate on the spot. They came in a couple of hundred dollars lower in cost than the 2 other estimates we received so we paid the deposit on the spot! Customer service was great and they kept me up to date on everything via email. I would 100% recommend them and would definitely hire again.

We're very happy with the job they did. Their salesman was helpful in explaining the options, happy to answer questions, and willing to make a fence which works on our sloped plot. They came in significantly (20-30%) lower on cost than two other companies. They efficiently installed the fence and it looks really nice!

It went very well. A re[representative of Frederick Fence came to our home to give an estimate and the discuss options. The representative came with samples which made decision making clearer. The price was competitive, so we agreed to a contract. The estimated installation time was 5 weeks after down payments was made. Within 7 weeks, we were called to arrange a specific day to start installation. Frederic Fence recommended meeting with the crew chief at the beginning of the project to make sure everything was in agreement to expectations. We spent about 10 minutes walking around the yard to discuss specifics and to make sure the fence material was correct per the contract. This time was an excellent investment and it paid off, as 3 days later, the fence was fully installed and looked great. Neighbors commented very favorably as to its look. We had installed a 6 foot high fence to try to keep out the deer. So far, none have attempted to jump the fence.

They were able to schedule our job earlier than originally planned. The two workers showed up on time and went over the scope of work before beginning. Before completion, I was consulted to make sure I has satisfied with the placement of the handles. The final result was an attractive gate, the installers were skilled and efficient and they cleaned up all debris.

I had a really good experience with this company. The sales guy who helped us out, Neil, was very knowledgeable and easy to reach (e-mail, text, call). We ran into issues at the start with Frederick City and the zoning permits. Frederick Fence Co (FFC) took care of everything in a timely manner and consistently provided me with updates. At the end, there was another issue at the final inspection with the "beauty" side of the fence facing inward on a portion of the fence, instead of facing outward. I was gearing up for FFC to charge me for this work. I was very happily surprised when Neil said they were going to take care of the work at no additional cost to me. They weren't the lowest price when I got the estimates, but I am very happy with the craftsmanship & communication. I would recommend this company.

A perfect experience, from the initial contact with Perry who gave clear advice and information; very reasonable cost; the work was done exactly when they said it would be and efficiently and the fence is beautiful! Could not have had a better business experience!

Although the crew was friendly and arrived promptly, I have to say that the overall quality of the job was, at the most, mediocre. I had to step in and ask them to correct a couple of blunders while they were there. In many places the job was rushed: The vertical boards were not straight, did not overlap in same places, and the gate boards did not touch each other so that there where considerable gaps between them. When I called and voiced my disappointment, I was told that someone would come out to have a look, and it happened. It was admitted that the job had not been done at the best and I was promised that someone would come to fix the problems. After two weeks, finally someone came, but the fence does not look better now than it did when the job was completed, and on top of that I now have a splintered, cracked horizontal board that I do not know how long will last before falling apart. In hindsight, I should have probably stayed out there with the crew for the whole time, to make sure that the job would be done properly, but I did not think that was necessary, because I was relying on them to be through. This company is not the cheapest on the market, and the quality of the craftsmanship does not reflect the price I paid for the job. I would not recommend them. Live and learn…

Butch showed up, gave a reasonable estimate for chain-link fence, gave us a new estimate when we changed our mind to do split-rail instead. The crew showed up on the scheduled day and installed everything that day. Everything went well and looks good!

Frederick Fence was able to accommodate my request to build a custom driveway gate for a rental property. Representatives I spoke with were responsive and easy to deal with. The gate turned out just as requested. Only criticism I would have is that it took a bit longer than expected to complete the project. However, there were some issues out of their control and it was their busy season. With that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Estimate was provided by Perry Orman in June, 2015.  I asked for an August/September install.  The appointment was set up without a problem.  The person scheduling my job was very accommodating to my time constraint.  The two installers showed up as scheduled and the work took a few days to complete.  I was billed the final payment and promptly mailed them a check.  I am very happy with this company with the exception of any type of followup from anyone at their home office for either a walk-thru, an inspection of the work, or inquiry of outcome of the work provided.  The workers finished up and left.  They were pretty neat (with the exception of some debris and old concrete which I cleaned up) and I believe they did the job correctly.  It would have been nice to have someone inspect the work or contact me for followup.  I wish someone would have done this.  I even questioned this with a note on my final invoice.  I never heard back from anyone.  I don't know if I would use this company in the future because of this.  They finished the job and left.  It makes me feel like they did not care about me as a customer.  I did not feel this until the very end.  The "no" for hiring again is because of the incomplete closure of the job.  I was not left feeling as if my being a customer was important. It would have made a customer feel like they were valued . Perhaps I am expecting too much. Maybe I am wrong in expecting followup.  If so, MY bad.

Frederick fence accommodated me on very short notice at the height of busy season. I called them on Monday afternoon looking to get a fence installed by Saturday so that I could pass a pool inspection on the following Monday. We had poor communication with the different contractors on the pool build and my original fence selection was not able to complete the work in time.
I spoke to Frederick Fence in the afternoon and they said that they could do it. 30 minutes later Neil the salesrep called to discuss the project (size, design, fence selection, ect) and about 1 hour later I had a preliminary quote. I was very happy to find that the quote was only $50 more than the previous fence company was going to charge. And since I had done a lot of research prior to selecting the other fence company, I knew that the price Frederick Fence gave me was very competitive and good. 
Contract signed, they took a deposit (CC payments made everything easy to move forward quickly) and scheduled me for Saturday. The scheduling lady said that the crew would show up between 9am-9.30am and they showed up right on schedule at 9.15am. I discussed the project with the foreman walked the area with him and they started the work. By 3.30pm they were finished. The foreman took the time to walk the fence with me to review everything, explained the pool fence regulations for MD and how my fence checked all the requirements.
A+ job... From the salesperson, to scheduling to the actual job Frederick Fence did a FANTASTIC job and I would recommend them to anyone.

People have to be very careful how it's measured - they over estimate. The tape measurer was elevated and hung to ground when measuring, creating additional footage - so I had them add more fence than I needed. Other than that everything went fine.
