 + -1 moreJim was polite, knowledgeable, and straight-forward in the best sense of the word. He told me what they could pay for my items. I accepted and exited with a check that I was happy with. I will return to them in the future when I generate more items to sell.
Description of Work: For some time I had wanted to sell a couple coins each more than 100 years old. Some of the places I visited for pricing gave me the creeps or were boarded up. Frederick Coin Exchange, on the other hand, has been around for years.

Description of Work: Examined my miscellaneous pieces of gold to determine value. The proprietor was very professional. I did not sell for the price he gave me as I felt it was possible to get a higher amount. To be fair, the price of gold was fluctuating & he did have a live stock market feed in his store.

 + -1 moreWithout an appointment, they painstakingly went through hundreds of coins and offered what I though was a very fair price and so they purchased the coins on the spot. I also had a vintage Patek Philippe watch that they also gave me a fair price for. Excellent experience and would use them again.
