The 1st address - all was good. The 2nd address - at first they said they could do the work immediatley. After the perc test, it was a 3 week wait. And expensive.

Truck arrived promptly, we had already located the cleanout and had a hose hooked up if needed.
Driver went straight to work, finished in record time. It was a new truck that had been upgraded so the pumping was quick without a problem, no clogging up, or stalling. Finished up, cleaned up and left.

We made a down payment of $2500 and the work began around May 1. Half way
through the work, the county expert indicated that instead of crushing
and filling the old drywells he would be happy to see them incorporated into
the new septic system to be used as back-up capacity in case there were ever
any problems with the newly installed trenches. We discussed this with
Fogle's and they said (several times) that they would be happy to do
this work within the original bid price, since the amount they would save by
not having to pump, crush and fill the drywells would be more than
enough to pay for the cost of incorporating the drywells into the new system.
A
verbal agreement was reached with them and confirmed by operator Jamie several times. We requested written
confirmation which was not provided. Instead, they send a bill for $750 for additional work. Since this was not what had been agreed I wrote them instructing them NOT to do the work associated with
the new alternative unless it could be done within the original bid price of
$6985. In spite of this, they went ahead and did it anyway.

The work was finished around June 1, 2012
and we paid the balance of the original bid price, but did not pay the
additional charge of $750. Our last payment was sent with a full explanation of
why we did not agree with the new charge. Ever since they have been
harassing us with new bills and threats to turn it over to a collection
agency.
We have a string of emails that clearly demonstrates this sequence of events, yet they continue to deny that
they had agreed (on several occasions) to do the new work within the
original bid price. Their increasingly threatening tone has us worried.
