Wish I could remove my review but apparently Angi's list doesn't allow it. Chapingo came back and fixed branches so they look aesthetically pleasing and did it in a very professional, kind and understanding way. First encounter was misunderstanding between neighbor, me and company. Very satisfied with outcome and with the way they approached fixing the problem.

Chapingo is amazing! I originally scheduled Chapingo to come out and chop (oh!) down a mature holly that is above my roofline and very close to the house. The lead guy saw that I loved the tree and suggested he give it a good trim and see if I would be happy with the result -- and unbelievably, I was! I thought I had no choice but to chop it down and was so happy to keep the holly. They did such an outstanding job, I asked if they would tackle an overgrown Kousa dogwood and they did. What an improvement! These guys are the best -- and you can tell they love trees! Thank you for the best possible results!

It went extremely well. From the start, when I first contacted the company, they were responsive to schedule the estimate. The estimator, Javier, was very knowledgeable and clear about what could be done and how it would be taken care of. On the day scheduled for the service a crew of three people, Oscar, Renan and Jaime, showed up on time with a big truck. All of them were polite, attentive to my comments and expectations and very efficient. I supervised their work the whole time since I wanted to make sure they didn’t trim more than what was necessary. The estimator showed up while the service was being performed to make sure the crew was fully aware of what we had discussed and agreed upon. At the end, I was extremely pleased with their professionalism, responsiveness and skills. Fantastic work!

They were very good at what they did but they seemed to be confused as to what we needed. Once we had an understanding, they did a very good job. We would definitely consider hiring them again.

They were a pleasure to work with. They came to give me the proposal when they said they would, and when I asked them to come back a second time (after I realized another tree needed pruning), they came without complaint. They did the work carefully and at the time specified, and cleaned up after themselves. One of the trees is especially challenging because it very tall and in a back corner of our yard without access to the street and with branches going over several neighbors' yards. They made sure I was satisfied before they left. On top of it all, their price was lower than the others I got.

Eighteen months ago after obtaining four on-site estimates, I hired Chapingo (coming in at about half the estimate of the most expensive) to prune a massive old oak. From very first contact to final twig cleanup, this company was excellent. So yesterday they came again to shape and prune a dozen much smaller trees. Let me just say that this group is one of those outfits that ups your appreciation for the private enterprise system: such responsiveness, such friendliness, such expertise, such efficiency, and really now, such low prices. If you're shopping, call them first to get their arborist's advice on exactly what needs doing. This will be your benchmark when having competitors out.

I thought their procedures for removing the trees were exceptionally risky to both the worker and the fence behind our yard as the tree fell right along the fence line and the workers had to run as the tree fell. It made me very nervous. But they did the work we asked them to do and the left the yard clean.

Perfectly. Estimate and service is timely, efficient, and trustworthy at a reasonable price. I used Chapingo Tree once before to remove a tree that had fallen into my yard after a storm and returned this time to have a dead tree removed.

Salvador arrived on the dot to examine the job and give an estimate, just two days after my call. He advised in detail on each aspect of the job, specifying how much could be cut back without damaging the tree. His estimate was by far the lowest of the three solicited, less than half (!) the most expensive, and for explicitly the same work. The crew arrived on time less than two weeks later with two climbers and did an excellent job from start to finish. My directions, as informed by Salvadore and passed on by him to the crew, were carried out accurately and completely. In particular, I specified that large limbs be grounded gently so no compression would occur on my or my neighbor's lawns. At several points, the crew chief checked in with me to be sure they had it right. Clean-up was prompt and complete. It is a pleasure dealing with these highly professional, completely responsive, and very friendly folks.

I thought he was great. I was very satisfied and I didn’t see a bunch of wood chip when they were finished. They left the area cleaned. I thought they were excellent with their pricing and I had three estimates and I was satisfied with the pricing for what I needed them to do. I was talking to the guys who were here to do the work and I was telling them about the branch that was lying on my telephone wire and he was saying I don’t know anything about that.  So I said all I needed you to do is call Jose and so when he got him on the phone he said we got it and we are going to take it down for you. It was no problem. Some of these vendors come and they try to take advantage of females, especially older females.

Well. They came on time to geive us an estimate, then came shortly after that to perform the work, which they did well, and left the property neat and clean.

Very well - the crew arrived on the scheduled date and did an excellent job of getting rid of the tree.

Chapingo's does all me tree work They are fair and honest. The give you a fair estimate and get the job done right. The y take down what they too, but they tell you the trees that don't need to be trimmed or cut down. Very Honest

The entire crew was top notch! In addition to having very fair prices, the crew worked as a true team, they were extremely meticulous, and left the entire work area spotless. 10 out of 10 experience!
