They came in and fixed it so that I now have tub handles that turn the water on AND off normally.  That was ~ 4 months ago and they are still working great.  They are really busy so I had to wait a few weeks before they could come out.  That was a very small price to pay.  It was well worth the wait!

We've been using Brown's Plumbing for 5+ yrs now and have always been satisfied with their service, pricing, and professionalism. They've always provided a 2hr window and they usually arrive within the first 30min. The one time they were and quot;lateand quot; was due to horrific traffic on 270 and they called roughly 30min before the start of that window. Technically, though, they still showed up within the window they originally provided. Their work is solid and they are honest. We are first-time homeowners and they take the time to teach us little things about maintenance etc... each time they come. They also take the time to point out and quot;urgent, fix it nowand quot; vs. and quot;it can wait, but it'll be an issue down the lineand quot; items (they've been right every time).

Had to go get a toilet (not cheap). Got charged for his travel as well as the expensive toilet. He, Shawn, was very nice. There was an issue with the drain that he said he would get back to me. Have not heard anything for nearly 3 weeks now. It seems like they are very busy because it took about 3 weeks to get the appointment.

Fixed it in record time, a staple had worked its way into the drain and was stuck. Saved us from having to put in a new disposal.

Both times, Brown handled the work efficiently and even went out of their way to purchase a part they didn't have on their truck in order to finish the job the same day. We felt confident the work was done correctly and they took the time to explain our options in dealing with what could have been a major flooding issue. We have used Brown off and on over the years and are extremely pleased with the work they do. If we ever have a plumbing problem, they are who we call.

I called Brown's yesterday to schedule a plumber to replace our broken garbage disposal, and got an appointment for the next morning. I was told the price of the new one if they had to replace it. The plumber arrived on time, checked to be sure it was broken, and told me he would have to replace it. I thought as much from the noise it was making. He had one on the truck, removed the old one, and replaced it with a new one. He also replaced a short piece of PVC that had cracked and was leaking. The whole job took about an hour, as the scheduler had said, and cost exactly what I had been told yesterday.
The plumber was clean, neat, courteous, and efficient. This is the second time I have used Brown's and they are the plumber I will call the next time.

When I called and scheduled the visit; Mary Beth was very helpful, explaining what had to be done and giving me an estimate for the work. Joe, I believe, and Sean arrived on time and, after showing them where things were, they got right to work. I checked in with them occasionally to see how things were going and to ask questions. Both men were professional and answered my questions patiently. They explained the installation and the venting pipe they had to install, and we discussed different ways to do it. In three hours, they had replaced the water heater and the plumbing and tub in the laundry room. They showed me how to set the water heater temperature, and answered another question about another valve. The total cost was less than the estimate I got on the phone, which was nice, and I am delighted with the work and the workers.

The plumber tried to fix the broken faucet first, but wasn't able to, so he had to replace it. He did a great job - minimal mess and the price was lower than I expected. I got an appointment the day after I called, and he came right on time and finished on time. I was very pleased and will definitely use Brown's again.

All repairs went very smoothly.

Upon turning on the shut-off valve for an outside faucet, the shut-off valve started leaking. Another outside faucet had a slow leak for a long time. We called Brown's plumbing to replace both of them, as they are one of the top-rated plumbers as rated by Checkbook Magazine. They were able to come within 3 days of the call. I was told they would arrive between 1:00 and 3:00 PM on the day of the appointment - two plumbers arrived exactly at 1:00 PM. They were both pleasant, professional, courteous and efficient - quite likable. They quickly surveyed the requirements for the job, and estimated how long it would take. They completed both jobs within 1.25 hours, and completely cleaned up the work areas. The hole in the one wall was cut very neatly and is easily reparable. They not only did an excellent job but also went beyond the call of duty and made the following improvement. For both faucets the builder of the house did not provide proper supporting structure, so the plumbers added wood supports to the framework and secured the faucet assemblies to the framework, resulting in more secure faucets. Providing this type of quality seems to be part of normal modus operandi, and fosters a strong trust in the quality, correctness and completeness of their work They definitely deserve the top rating they have, and we will definitely call them back for our future plumbing needs.

They came the day after I called, within the promised time frame, were professional and knowledgable. We have used this company for several years now and are always completely satisfied, both with the work done and cost.

Everything went great. They were very responsive to my needs. I had family coming in for Christmas and my hot water heater go out. They were very helpful and professional. There prices seemed to be competitive.

The installation and repairs went smoothly and quickly. All the work was done in a professional manner. The lack of a uniform is the only reason I knocked down the Professionalism to a B.
