+ -1 moreThey were good. We actually went someplace else first, but they could not see it so we went to Autobody Dimensions, It was great; it was done when they said it would be so that was pleasant. They are very courteous and professional. It took about two weeks for the work to be completed, but they had to order parts, do all the color, painting, blending and all that good stuff. For the work being done, that makes sense. I did not actually talk to the workers, I talked to the guy and lady in the office and they were both very pleasant. They said it was done and that it all came in and I was in good shape. The experience was everything I could have asked for. They left my car very clean, I can still smell the cleaner in it every time I get in the car.
Description of Work: Autobody Dimensions is the company that fixed my car. They did some bodywork.

+ -1 morePeople were nice. The estimate was not! I subsequently went to another body shop and got an estimate that was $700 less for the same work. Buyer beware and please get a second estimate. I was shocked there was such a difference.

+ 2 moreWe dealt with Brian Housman and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He explained what service they would provide, defined how they would repair the damages and assured us that when the SUV was finished it would look like new. We were extremely impressed with the service and the quality of their work, the Buick looks like it came off the dealers lot and since we have a very tough red paint color to match we were amazed that no difference between the factory original color and the repaired areas could be detected at all. The entire team at Autobody Dimensions are professionals, with a demonstrated commitment to satisfying their customers and providing outstanding repair work. Their prices are reasonable and extremely fair based on the level of quality ,service and timely completion of work that they provide.
Description of Work: Repaired and repainted numerous door dings , rock chips and dented chrome molding on a 2012 Buick Enclave.

Very through and kind, told me date of finished work would be sometime in middle of January work actually completed a week or so earlier, work was great, I can't see the difference between original body work and new work. Would recommend this body work place.

+ -1 moreThey used all genuine VW parts and made the car look and run like new. They delivered the car within the time they quoted and were easy to work with. They dealt directly with the insurance company so I didn't have too. They have great customer service and were always friendly and gracious to deal with. The work was done in 2007, I think.

The paint matched perfectly, the parts were exactly what was needed (from what I could tell), and my vehicle was even detailed. The work performed by Autobody Dimensions was just amazing!! | |Though Autobody Dimensions was not a preferred repair location for my insurance provider, they worked closely with my insurance company to coordinate repairs, costs, and timelines. I just didn't get much feedback....and I guess that's OK in the end.
Description of Work: Based on numerous positive reviews from Angie's List users, I contacted Autobody Dimensions in order to handle the repairs to my vehicle from a collision this winter. | |After submitting an online contact form, a representative from the Frederick office promptly contacted me to set up a visit the next day. I took my vehicle in the next day and was satisfied enough with the initial appraisal to leave it in their hands to be repaired. | |The initial estimate of the timeline was a little over week, pending a secondary approval by my insurance company. I took a hands off approach and let them work at their own pace without my pushing and insistence that they hit their estimation; I understand that things don't always go according to plan. However, a few days later I was notified that some more parts would be need to be approved and then ordered before the repair could be complete. | |No problem. | |So I continued to wait until it drew closer to the next estimated date of completion and I hadn't heard any news yet. I called in to find out that, as the car was being put back together, a broken part was discovered that again needed to be approved by my insurance company and then ordered. It would not be received until after the weekend. It would have been nice to have been updated as to the status more often.

+ -1 moreIt was a fantastic experience. It was a car accident and I did not have to pay for it because it was not my fault. They were fantastic and they did a great job. I have also recommended them to other people and I would absolutely use them again in the future. The work was fantastic and the car came out looking better afterwards than it did before. They went above and beyond our expectations in their repair work. The car was like brand new when they were done.
Description of Work: The last time that I used Autobody Dimensions-Frederick was in February of 2012 for repairing the damage to our car after an automobile accident.

With auto work, there is always the possibility that the work will have to be redone, and I haven't had any concerns after the work was done.I would absolutely use them again.

+ -1 moreIt was not too good. The car had front end damage and they said it was going to take 4 days. It was fine. The day that I was supposed to pick it up, they found more damage and it took another couple of days. I show up to pick-up the car, the front bumper was not on correctly, they forgot to put the bolts in. I had to show the guy where the bolt belongs. When I was getting ready to leave it was squeaking. There was a piece of metal scraping. When they unhooked the battery, they did not get the code for my radio, so I had to call the dealership to get the code. They also forgot to put the foam in the bumper. My insurance company handled the cost. I would not use them again.

Their technician was a little hard to find and other than that I don’t have any complaints. They were fast, very responsive and really helpful. They got it done the time I needed it done. It was the lowest price for an oil change and transmission flush that I found. They were very good and told me about some more things that were wrong with my car that I wasn’t aware of and they were really good. They had pictures of actual problem in the car that they showed me when I came. I asked them what the cost would be and they got back to me in fifteen minutes.

The people were friendly and nice to work with but there was lack of attention to detail. We had to go to another body shop to get the work done properly.

They communicate with me every day with the status of my car. The work turned out beautiful. My interaction with the provider was great. I had $250 deductible and the insurance paid the rest. They were very professional.

+ -1 moreThey were great. They did a huge job. It turned out great. The guy who did that was really sweet. It was Christmas time and things were busy and after they replaced it all the electronic stuff went off like my other lights came on and so we checked engine. He drove it to Chevy himself to get them to fix it as I had a cover with the dealership and they weren’t being helpful or cooperating and this guy was really, really sweet. He made sure they fixed everything and lights got turned off. He was very, very helpful. They were good and the work was great. I was insured so I paid $1500 but the whole job was over $5000. I don’t know how much it should cost.
Description of Work: I used Autobody Dimensions-Frederick for auto service. They did a huge job as my dog ate the air bag while sitting in the car. They replaced the entire electronic harness by taking the entire car apart and it was a brand new Chevy traverse and they literally had to take the air bag harness and sensor runs to the entire vehicle so they had to take the front door, the seat valve and then made sure to the back and then back to the headliner and into the front cabin part and it was a huge fix.
