Aarons Tree Removal

I have used Aaron's Tree Removal twice in the past with good results. Unfortunately, the third time was not the charm.
They were supposed to do a clean job, but they left an enormous pile of ground-up stump material and several deep holes in our back yard.
Worse, one of their guys decided to cut down a mature tree on our front lawn that they weren't supposed to touch. Aaron made a couple of jokes about it, but didn't offer to adjust his price or do anything to make it right, like planting a replacement.

We used them based on the reviews we've read on Angie's List. I wrote to 3 tree service companies and they were the most prompt in calling me back. They're excellent. They're very reasonable and very good. They did a very good job. We thought their prices were reasonable. We told them about the ones we were concerned about. They must also be arborists because they went and looked at things and recommended a couple of different things and not doing what we thought but something else to protect the trees. So it was kinda 50-50. We had 2 that we wanted down and some other questionable ones and they provided guidance there on out. The service went fine, it was just what we wanted. They were prompt and they did what they said and the price was what they said it would be. We told them we wanted the big ones left so they what we just asked them to.

He took a week to return my phone call, but apologized and explained that he'd been very busy. He came out that afternoon to take a look at the tree and was very personable. He quoted me $200 to cut the tree down and remove the stump and roots. We paid him as he started the job. After the tree was cut down he told us he would be back the next morning to remove the stump and roots. He never showed up and never called. I called him and left a message. He never returned my phone call. He only completed half the job, but collected all of the money. Today is 4/27/13. If he calls and shows up to complete the job I will gladly change my review.
My husband contacted him on the 4/29/13 and he returned my husband's phone call. He did come back that afternoon and completed the job. His workmanship is very good that I would probably give him a second chance.

Aaron called back within a day after I left a message for him. He arrived promptly when at the time he said he would, cut up and removed the damaged tree(s), and ground out the stumps. Following the removal work, he cleaned up thoroughly, including blowing excess debris from drive and walkways with a power blower. In each of my encounters with him, Aaron was professional, courteous, and thorough. He did what he said he would do and charged very reasonable prices. I definitely would use his services again and recommend him to others.

It went very well. They got it done very quickly, a day or two after I called. They came back a week later to grind the stump and it worked very well. They were quick and their price was about half the other quote I got.

Great! It could not have gone better and we are very happy with all the work performed.

Needed fallen tree removed follwoing Storm Sandy. Aaron was responsive, polite, and did what he said he would including prompt return for final cleanup. I would definitely use his services again and will recommend him to others.

This was the second time I used Aaron's Tree service. He removed several large trees from our property and ground the stumps. He brought a large chipper and chipped all the branches on site, and hauled everything away. I asked him to leave the large pieces so I could cut them into firewood, and his crew cut them into firewood-length logs as a bonus, even though that hadn't been included in his quote.

I also have a large, old, spreading Maple that needed some major pruning. I was going to use a tree surgeon, because we love the tree and wanted it done right to ensure its long-term health and survival. I discussed it with Aaron, and found that he was as knowledgeable about the right way to prune it as any tree surgeon, so I asked him to do it- and he did a great job.

The guy knows his stuff, he and his crew are professional, friendly, work hard and clean up after themselves, and his prices are more than reasonable.

This is the second time we have used the company and they always do a neat and thorough job. They are professional and reasonably priced. I think the phone number in their profile is out of date; if it doesn't work, try 301-606-7043.

Everything went great. They were courteous and professional. Did a safe job and cleaned up after themselves.
