JW Right Electric

JW Electric was assigned to my home warranty claim to address a faulty GFCI outlet in my kitchen in Nov. I left a message and within 24 hours received a callback with an appointment window a few days later. Julian arrived early, asked pertinent questions to assess the issue, traced the GFCI line to my basement and tested all connections, including those connecting to my electrical panel. In the end, he replaced the faulty GFCI outlets in my kitchen and basement, and the problem was resolved. I have since called him for other electrical issues at my home not covered by my warranty, and he has been responsive, thorough, and priced fair. The only complaint that I have is that he's a bit messy and doesn't clean up after himself. Other than that, I would hire him again.

It's 4 years later and Pepco has still not shown up. The box labeling was terrible...nothing was labeled correctly. I had to redo that work myself.

They can do the electrical work, but are sometimes lazy about making sure the area looks properly finished and professional. One electrician who changed my attic fan motor also stepped on the duct work in the attic, which resulted in insulation inside my airflow and me having to replace the ductwork.

Contacted JW Right on Weds the 21st to ask if he could install a motion light in our back yard.  Part of his advertisement was that "no job is too small".  I wasn't sure if he would come out just to install one light.  He said he would come out the next day around noon.  He was right on time and took the time to let me explain what I needed and where.  He gave me a quote and said he'd come out on Monday to have it in installed.  Two of his employees showed up in a timely manner and completed the job.  They were not only professional but very courteous.  I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend.  

For a full explanation, see earlier review of Kolb Electric.  I contacted JW Right to replace a T12 with a T8 light strip.  I'd purchased the light strip via Amazon so there was no equipment cost.  Julius was prompt and worked directly with me to schedule the appointment.  I was referred to him/his company by my home warranty service.  We played a bit of phone tag to get a hold of one another and schedule the appointment but that was merely due to the differences in our daily routines.  He installed the light strip but it still didn't work.  He was unable to diagnose the problem, and I was left again with no bathroom light above the vanity.  (For how this two-year, $350+ ordeal finally was resolved, see my review of A Action Home Services.)  I thought, overall, the work was good.  Nothing exceptional and since it didn't fix the problem, it was a disappointment.

He was punctual and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and neatly. Very polite and efficient. He also sent his son to install a fan. His son was professional, skilled and quick. I would recommend them.

They were friendly, responsive, and pleasant. Got the job done quickly and did not over charge. We will use again many more times in he future.

Julius completed the work and also helped me with an issue I had with unused wires from my unused satellite. I was very impressed that I also asked him to give me a quote to replace all outlets and to move some cable wires to a non shared wall in my townhome.
