Lawn Doctor of Carroll County

Since Lawn Doctor Has been taking care of my lawn the grass has never been this good since I've been here for almost 24 years. When the grass gets cut it looks like a Carpet.

They do what they say they will do. They came in, aerated the soil, killed the weeds, they gave us extra seed and the grass actually grew in thicker and a high improvement. I never expected to actually see it happen.

I have been using them for years. They are very good. Basically, they come out once a month. Depending on what you want they will come out once a year, or twice a year, or however you set that up. I like their service. They are very good. I have no complaints. It starts probably in March through November. Depending on application and what you want done. My lawn looks great. I am very satisfied. Basically, I kinda have a service agreement with them. They come out so many times, and I have actually them charge me every month on my credit card. The price depends on what services are done. It varies, I have had a couple of things done in my yard. They come out and do what ever they do. They spray and get rid of the grubs and red worms. I have no problems with them, they do a good job. I think they are reasonable on price. I have been using them for years now.

It worked out fine. I have had them for several years. I'm satisfied.

We have a contract for, I guess they do like pre-emergent weed stuff, fertilizing and things like that for us. We?ve had that contract with them for 10 years. So, we are obviously satisfied customers. I just don?t pay a lot of attention. They come when they say they?re coming. We have gone into the office, which is not too far from where we live. Their customer service has always been very good. It?s a small office, but everybody there is very friendly. My husband has never had any concerns. When they say they are coming out to do something, they are here. 

I would say they are probably very good with price too, because my husband would be looking for somebody else if they weren?t. Our lawn looks great! We are big fans, obviously! We have recommended them as well. We have an annual contract. They come out and they do weed prevention and fertilizing. If we needed other things, they do offer other services, which we have not needed to take advantage of. I believe they do insect control as well. Our services with them is strictly for the lawn.

I think they are great. It was the second treatment of the season. I don't know what other companies charge. This is the third lawn company we have had and we have been the most pleased with them. We have had them for maybe 3 years now, and we are extremely pleased with them. You can give them an A for price. I would definitely use them again. Much better than any, we only had one that was equal to them, but they were very expensive. That is what the agriculture people told us that they were good but very expensive. They are very very very good.

On my lawn.

I contracted the spring/summer of 2016 after using them years ago unsatisfactorily. The very long story short is when I looked at my yard at the end of the season it looked like I hadn't had a service at all. When I called to complain I was given the same excuses I had been given years ago (weather related) and given two free services. Problem is I don't mind paying I just expect to get what I paid for. Because of being busy at work I hadn't paid much attention to the back yard that I was paying them to pay attention to. Surprised to come home yesterday to find they had just assumed I was going to use them again this year (which I'm not). If you want a company that will show up routinely, they will. However they are not paying attention to whether or not what they are doing is successful or needs to be adjusted. Which is in my mind what you are paying them to do. Cost was for the season.

Lawn Doctor has a very good lawn care program that is typical of such programs in that it consists of multiple applications from early Spring thru late Fall. They also offer additional applications on an a la carte basis depending on what issue you want them to address. My biggest and only problem was that the application technician operated the application equipment too quickly over my lawn and in the process kept damaging the turf on a small 30 degree sloped portion. Despite repeated requests to repair this and cease doing it he ES observed by my neighbor continuing the rapid operation and gouging of the turf by one wheel of the application cart. I suppose they are under time constraints and it is to their advantage to apply each treatment as quickly as possible. Had this not been an issue I would still be using them. I changed to a different company and they have worked more slowly along the slope plus they doubt have as heavy a piece of equipment. I recommend Lawn Doctor if you have a standard fairly flat lawn without any significant slopes. The grass certainly thrives well under their treatment; weeds are minimal or nonexistent. I have no problem there. Also the people in the office are very pleasant and responsive. I used Lawn Doctor for many years with good results other than the slope problem.

My lawn in the front looks much better than it did years ago. The crabgrass was treated. It was $58 and they gave me a discount. I was sort of disappointed with the deep seeding that they did in the back but I was the one to blame, because I went to Maine and didn’t water the lawn for a while. But they told me that the seeds are still there. I am pleased with the front yard because there were so many weeds and they cured that problem and now it is just a matter of thickening up the back lawn but the soil around here is lousy. They were fine with the cleanup after they left. I was here when they did the deep seeding, the two workers that came were very prompt and very professional and they had two different machines and treated the lawn. I was happy with the fact that they solved the weed problem. I had such a terrible weed problem. The lawn is much better now.

Have just started using this provider this spring. So far the treatments have benefited my yard. Company reports that they are willing to retreat if initial treatment did not address all the weeds. Had the opportunity to meet the tech today and asked a couple of questions about some bad patches in the lawn. He was ready to offer suggestions and willing to provide few adjustments. Like that they have an actual service person who answers calls when not open to take messages.

They have done a very good job. They are thorough in their work and are quick due to their machinery. Their costs are very reasonable.

Came out to our house for an estimate.  The service manager that came to our residence was pleasant and thorough - took me around the property with him and explained his recommendations.  Their pricing was very competitive (say, compared to TruGreen).  On top of that, they are a smaller company and therefore have much better customer service.  Their billing and office manager, Brandy, is awesome!  She really worked with me to get the payments manageable - for example, she customized a payment plan that fit out needs as far as spreading out the payments out and said that, since they are a smaller company, they are often able to accommodate their valued customers.  Being a small company is their greatest feature.  I have really like my interactions with the office.  They have completed one lawn treatment so far, so I cannot attest yet to the outcome.  But they were timely with their visit - here when promised and done quickly.  I will do an update later in the summer. 

Well done and continue to use them. Feel like my business is important to them. On time and on budget. Lawn looks great!

They are great. We really didn't have a lawn and they nursed it and were very helpful in explaining how to maintain it and what to do. They spent time with us. They are very willing to come out and answer any questions or concerns. We had a little problem in our Church which was my fault. They came out the next day, didn't question anything, fixed the problem and didn't charge anything.

The lawn service company is really good and we have never had any problems with them. They come out five or six times every year. They come when they say they are coming and they are right on schedule. They give us a discount for paying the entire amount at the beginning for the whole year. We are very happy with them and we have had them for twenty years. My wife would definitely recommend to other people.

I am happy with the service. I plan to continue my service contract with them. They are always reasonable on their price and are very good about scheduling my service when it's convenient for me. I would gladly refer them to others.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPANY'S OUT THERE THAT DO THE SAME TYPE OF WORK, BUT I KEEP USING THIS COMPANY. THEY MAKE MY LAWN LOOK GREAT, AND I HAVE REFERRED THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY.

I LIKE THAT THEY KEEP TRACK OF WHEN THINGS NEED DONE SO I DO NOT HAVE TO DO IT. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A NOTE ON THE DOOR IF WE ARE NOT HOME SO THAT WE KNOW WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND. THE YARD LOOKS VERY LUSH, AND I AM HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE.
